I had a charger that wasn't working at one time; since it wasn't working, the battery didn't charge and eventually died;

then there the plug in thing that goes into the wall; if that's not working, then your battery won't charge and the longer those batteries stay uncharged the more likely they die.

the chargers usually have a green light, and when you screw in a battery to charge, the light turns red.

Angie, this video is a review by Phil Busardo, one of the most knowledgeable reviewers in the industry. You can probably become much more familiar with your eGo just by watching it.

BTW, did they tell you that you can turn the battery on and off by pressing the fire button 5 times in a row? 5 times for off and 5 times again turns it back on. One other thing ... an 1100mah battery can take up to 3 hours to fully charge on a 425ma charger. The 5 click on-off feature will at least tell you if it's off. That's covered early in the video.

Bring everything back to them when you can and have them check it. Could be a faulty battery, charger- even the clearo could short out the battery.

Whenever I've had an issue with an ego battery (not often, but it does happen) it has been when I first got them, or if they're really old. Probably QC isn't all that great.

Once it works, you should be good. So sorry you're having this issue!

sounds like something isn't right
what happens when you First screw ego onto dongle (flash to red then green?)
to me it sounds/looks like your ego is Full charged and the ego light pulse
is the result of it...

- - - -

red light on A/C wall adapter just tells power is on

light on ego should blink, indicating power and charge mode started

light on USB dongle should (pulses during charge cycle)
-turn Red to indicate charging
-turn Green when charge complete

A link to an ECF thread where people are discussing what the heck is going on with their eGo Twist and the charger. Good information. The link takes you to a post in the thread where someone listed all the combinations of charger LED and battery LED. You might want to surf the whole thread for the comments from others.

I'm in agreement with another poster..... That video you put up looks like there is something wrong with the system. I had to take my wife's kit back due to issues like this.... It's all made in China and the vendor is likely to be as put out as you are cause they can't get their money back for faulty equipment. I had to make a scene at the store to get them to replace the kit..... Begrudgingly they did!

Ok guys... An update... Went to the store today.... Guy said he wasn't sure if it was the actual unit or charger so he replaced it all.... And it's working now.... Left with 6 new juices and 2 net kangar tanks and all us good thus far.... Just got home and put some new juice in the tank that came with the starter kit... Screw it on and I get nothing .... I put my glass tank back on and it works fine.... Any idea what the issue is?

Hi and welcome to ECF. Sorry you are having problems with your twist battery. All I can tell you is that Mountain Oak Vapors is a well known good vendor. They should take care of you.

Vaping is confusing in the beginning. Most products come with little to no instructions. I have a friend in East TN and I do believe that there is a vape group that is active in that area. I know there is one in Knoxville. Check this thread for the link to the one I think may be near you.

This thread is not very active but the TN vapers group info is there. Good luck to you. You will figure out how this all works pretty quick. Do not be afraid to ask questions here.

 Sorry to know that your first experience is not so happy. Hope you both could keep vaping on. You could transfer to purchase something from the online shops. Online shopping now is the most popular method to purchase something including e cigarettes, so there is no need to worry about the quality. The price would be much cheaper.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. I bought a PUFF Platinum Series and have found nothing about it online but salesperson at shop uses it and It helps with nicotine cravings. I quit cold turkey 2 weeks before. Heard there is a real vaping shop near here and am going to check it out. Ordered a lot of flavors online for prices cheaper than the ones I got locally. Don't give up It will take many tries also check Vaping Videos on you tube. Grimm Green is my favorite, check his older newbie vids. Vaping Tiger does a lot of newbie stuff also. just search and check out for information. Good Luck.:p

center pin not making contact.

(either that or the atomizer itself is dead/ a dud)

Having an advanced system like an mvp or vv v3, vamo, sid, zmax etc means that when stuff like that happens you can actually troubleshoot better by checking resistance, checking your battery voltage etc.

If you have a multimeter you can take the tank that wasn't working and test it yourself; it should be around 2 ohms between the center pin and the outer 510 thread.

? what 2 new tanks did you get? If it's evods then that's ego thread and you shouldn't get a center pin problem?

Another thing you can do is hold the mouthpiece to your ear and press the fire button; you should hear the sound of the liquid vaporising on the coil; if you hear no sound at all, then you have an electrical problem
