Totally Wicked Changing Sale Prices

I successfully placed an order this morning at TW. This afternoon I went to make another order, had it all ready then needed to add something. When I came back to the cart the sale price on 2 kits I was going to get went up by about $10 each kit. It was at the top of the hour so the price must have changed but they lost a sale, I logged out and went elsewhere. I think I read someplace else on this forum that that happened to someone else.

Yeah, it's actually kind of cool.
It yo-yo's between like 20-40% and sometimes you'll find it at 65% off or more...
You just have to keep checking... at the moment it just went from 43% off to 33% off.

LOL, they are having a Holiday sale, where they are dropping and raising their discounted prices , a Yo-Yo sale. If you don't know about the sale, I guess it can be pretty frustrating to see the price change on ya! if you are looking to buy more items just keep an eye on the price over the course of a day or two, you may get a lower price than you first thought you would!

Yes - they have a video on their front page explaining the sale. It's a yoyo sale. At random times, either until or thru the 21st, the prices may dip. They are only at the lowest point briefly. I got got antsy and payed $20 for a very small 510 kit which briefly hit $12.90 hours later! It stayed at $16.39 for quite a while too.

But you have to be ready to check out fast to catch a price.

I can so relate, No Brag. The angst of waiting for a 67% discount, the panic attacks, the anxiety. Grabbing the monitor, yelling, "NO! NO! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!" Wearing out the F5 key. Bleh, I quit.

she set up some alert thingy........ from their facebook page I think ...
anyway the silly thing called her phone everytime he changed the price or something
It was too funny she lasted about 36 hours B-4 she gave up & hit the order button !
Just so she could turn the text thingy off ...........she did good tho she hit it @ 47% off !

The trick is to fill your cart with what you want and watch the discount. You have to be quick if it gets really good (like more than 50%) as those ones don't last long. The items in the cart should be saved even if you leave the site (at least it is on my PC). I've stopped myself from buying anything else as I don't need it (well OK I have a filled cart there, but I'll only be tempted if I happen to be on there if it gets really crazy like 90% ), but I've already bagged a few things at 51% and 57% IIRC.

It really sucks they won't ship their products to Canada I've had their liquid a few times before they stopped shipping here and also grabbed some when i went to Florida and loved it.

Well, 38% was pretty good so I just bought a kit for - are you ready for this - an ex husband. Heard he was having some health issues and still smoking. Hope the Tonado is a good kit. Got him a JC juice sampler too. I guess I'm in the spirit of the season.

Yeah, it was kind of funny. My Sister In Law says I should give Ex-Wife Lessons. He was the kind of person one would want to divorce but he's still my daughter's dad so I just never bothered to fight with him - since he was in another state it made it easier.

The hard part now is that I bought two kits for two people who don't have computers. That equals to not only writing out how to use them, but making catalogs of supplies and company info so they can reorder by phone. And since I got two different brands I can't just copy one after it's made. And one friend I got two sets for - Inferno & Magma so I have to do 2 parts lists. At least they are interchangeable with the carts and attys so that helps. So I put it down to I will convert 2 smokers and who knows how many they will in turn convert. We are all smoking one person at a time starting with ourselves but it would be nice to know how many convert because we taught them how to...

I think the yo-yo sale pitch is ridiculous.. I would just drop the price to the lowest possible with still being able to make a buck and bam " MERRY F%$@KIN CHRISTMAS! Its stupid to use that sales tactic.. But hey look at their website design it speaks for itself.

I placed a huge order last night when I noticed it went to 37%, then it went back down to 30% fifteen minutes later. Until now, I didn't understand it was yo-yo. Kinda cool actually, especially since my order saved me $120.
