I have been reading up some and was trying to find an optimal build for my Sony vtc5
Am I correct that using 28ga+ wire is more efficient than 26ga or lower?

Parallel coils are awesome for surface area.....I would lose surface area then though right? Maybe parralel coils?
I agree with this. I call it the K.I.S.S. Principle. (Keep It Simple, Stupid)Start simple and work your way up. Yes, this applies to coils but also, you know, life.
Throwing clouds really has nothing to due to the number of cellsSolid pretty much what I'm narrowing down is a .3-.6 for myself personall.y just don't know how some people throw crazy clouds off one cell
From what I have observed is those "cloud chasers" are using coils under 0.2 ohm. Yeah, a lot of clouds but they are pushing a single cell beyond the CDR. They usually say I've been doing that for months/years and nothing bad has happened yet. Keyword: Yet.... just don't know how some people throw crazy clouds off one cell

The CDR isn't a suggestion.
It's the safe operating limit of the cell.
You,can't be telling me a single cell mech powers 3 claptons!?!? Mine can barely power two :-(Yep.
I can get a nice warm Vape with plenty of plumage on a 0.2Ω build when I'm on one of my tubes, it's all about the build. But if I really want to be obnoxious and blow insane plumage I'm on my HOG with triple fused claptons @ around 0.4Ω.
There's no real reason to abuse your batteries and go beyond the CDR
