This right here is one of the best quotes I have read about the subject yet.

Telling smokers they may not use e-cigarettes until they're approved by the FDA is like telling a floundering swimmer not to climb aboard a raft because it might have a leak......

......and that they would be safer staying in the water which was brimming with man-eating sharks!!

Bravo for Elizabeth Whelan's piece on the lousy Congressional bill designed to benefit Philip Morris and screw all of us. Whelan has long been a beacon of common sense in a world of colonic flushing, mega-dosing and other wildly fringe "health" practices. I ran everything she wrote during my time as health editor for The Tampa Tribune. She's a bright doctor and her article spotlights the horrible results passage of this bill would have.
