I dunno how long you smoked but I had to be very careful listening to that voice in my head during the first 6 months. Those other chemicals in cigarettes can be be pretty devious and will set you up for failure if you listen to them. Its amazing what your mind will rationalize if it wants something bad enough.
Case in point; My doctor found a lipoma (benign fatty cyst) on my right shoulder a couple of years ago and I was convinced at the time it was from vaping. I used that as a rationalization to go back to smoking.....something thats a 1000 times worse for my body than vaping will ever be.
Fortunately I came to my senses and I havent looked back. Lipomas are pretty common in guys over 40 and nothing to worry about. Its not even noticeable under a shirt.
As far as the addiction goes, thats totally up to you.At 14 months completely cigarette free Ive slowly weened myself down from 24mg to just 6.Next month I will be at 0mg (keeping a 50mil bottle of the 6mg stuff for an emergency).
I smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years.I dont do anything half-assed

If I can quit, anyone can.
