Trading Tips - 801 for 510?

Hi all - bought the basic package because I have the batts and such. But at the time I didn't have the option of adding a 510 tip. I had to buy the night they went on sale, you know.

Did anyone buy a package with a 510 tip they don't want? I don't want my 801 and am willing to trade or buy a 510 tip from someone.

I know they'll likely be available for purchase separately at some point but I just don't want to wait.

The 510 is an adapter that goes onto your 801 tip. You may be able to find another supplier that sells 801/901 --> 510 adapters.

Ohhhhhhhh, I didn't realize it was just an adapter. I thought there was a completely separate tip for the 510. Thanks for clarifying this for me.

Actually I got a 801 tip and a 901 tip, with a 901 to 510 adapter... hmmm I do need another 801 atty though
