This is probably dumb but I commute everyday for around 20-30 mins on a train. I have started to notice a pattern of a small amount of oil leaking from the air intake just after I get off the train...is this a thing? any suggestions on how to stop the problem?? haven't seen anyone else complaining of the same but will try closing the air flow tonight.

I am using a Kanger Sub Vod Mega 4ml tank...

Cheers!

Hi there Frustrated and welcome.

If you'd said it happens after an air flight then I'd be thinking air pressure changes but not on a train. I suspect the only link between the train and your leak is that you aren't using the vape on the train and that this gives it time to leak. It is probably a small/slow leak and when you vape regularly you are removing the excess juice before it shows up as a leak. That's my best guess.

That tank and store bought coil shouldn't be leaking at all so I'd check and/or replace all the o rings and try a new coil to see if it stops.

Hi there Frustrated Commutor,

I would try Smoke_too_much's suggestion. A faulty coil is my best bet.
I have been on the subway with the same coilheads (different atty though),
no leakage.

Tanks can leak a bit with sudden temperature changes (from cold to warm, when entering the train)... i find that unlikely though in this case if it is a persistant pattern.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I use these to seal my RDA's when in travel. Works for me.
