travel with e cig

I recently purchase the njoy and plan to use this to quit regular smoking. I'm traveling through several airports to Costa Rica soon and I wonder if it's OK to pack it in my carry on bag or in my checked luggage. Has anyone ever had their ecig taken? It would ruin my trip as these are a good answer for me.

Hi Mary, I have carried mine (in my handbag) through five different airports, UK, US and Africa and it is going with me to Canada on Thursday. I have not had any questions about it, but all airports differ on what you can carry through, (Cig lighters ect). If you are really worried about it perhaps it would be best in your hold luggage, have a good trip

Hi Mary,

I recently flew cross country (USA) with my penstyle and no one batted an eye.
It went in my carry-on bag and i happily puffed away in the lavatory and in my seat. Admittedly, i only took deep puffs in my seat and held them in a while so when i exhaled--no vapor... I also cupped my hand around the LED.

I did pack a spare in my checked luggage just in case... but didn't need it.
