Oh I thought the Kayfuns were leaking as well that was really the only reason I have been avoiding the Russians and Kayfuns. I have a couple 22mm mods and a 23mm mech as well.

Real kayfun don't leak unless overfilled or the coil is to close to the air hole. Ive had some clones that never stopped leaking and some that are nearly as good as the real one.

Aqua and expromizer use the same system they are solid too when it comes to leaks. Taifun is pretty much leak free too.

You sir, need a spheroid. Worth every penny. Never leaks when flying. If I'm traveling by air, I've got spheroids with me. I've had Russians, ithakas, and protank/evod types all end up leaking juice ll over carry ons.

I never heard of that Spheroid thingy until now, shame on me :) I do have the Penelope which looks kind of similar, although the way it works is totally different. Anyways... I am all about trying and learning new things, so you Coldpunk might have made me spent 130 bucks, thanks for the suggestion :)

Hmm. I'm a frequent traveler as well and am actually one of those that stealth vapes on the plane, even with someone seated right next to me. I carry my Kayfun Lite Plus x 3, Aspire Nautilus, and IBTanked in my carryon and haven't had any issues with any leakage at all. I must be lucky or fly airlines with pressurized cabins :). Seriously, no issues for me with leakage. Just in case though I wrap each one in a small piece of paper towel and a zip lock snack bag. Just in case.

Just a question, do you travel with your tanks full or empty? I am asking because my experience have been different, However, most of the time I take my tanks filled at about half their capacity, but I wonder if the tank is full, then there is less air to be compressed and expanded and in consequence less possibility for leakage, I might try that next time.

I commute over a slight mountain pass where my ears pop near the summit. My Kayfuns will leak due to the air pressure change but only slightly. Other than that the Kayfuns never leak.

Wrap a length of Scotch tape around the air & fill holes of the Kayfun (3.1). Make sure the tank sections and cap are tight and put a plug on the tip. A thick wooden toothpick works fine, or carve yourself one out of a chop stick next time you get sushi. For safety's sake, put the atty in a ziplock bag before boarding the plane.
