Ive never had any hassle and I have flown with in the US several times and brought them in my carry on. I will say you are best to travel with empty or near empty tanks, the pressure does cause some leakage otherwise. Also, I put all liquids (bottles, tank with liquid, etc) in a ziploc *just in case* it mattered.

I flew out to Vegas last month with no issues at all.

I did check two 30ml bottles but carried my MVP2 and a 15ml bottle with me. Placed them in the tray at security and didn't get a single question as to what they were or a reminder not to use it on the plane.

I even respectfully vaped at the bar and at the gate and not one odd look.

lol just try to avoid bringing this with you

Put your tank (clearo, carto, dripper etc) in a plastic bag as well as your juice. As long as it's within TSA's regulation of mL capacity you're fine. I was able to vape on the airplane. I was respectful and blew it down into my sweatshirt and the flight attendant just asked if I wanted another beverage. There are a few vape friendly airports! Google: Vape Friendly Airports
Or better yet, call your airline and ask. I am sure they get this questions quite often now.
