Never had a problem flying withe vape gear. Liquids follow standard liquid rules on your carry on.

devices i usually have empty because all mine are tanks and pressure sensitive. They will leak on take off and landing. If I keep one full I pull it out of my cary on when I get on the plane and keep it upside down in the seat back pouch in front of me to prevent leaks.

That's about it. TSA knows all about them and won't hassle you.

Thats no problem at all i will be taking a decent amount not sure how much ill need so i wont have an issue having it in my checked in bag. Thats only if i can have like a 15 to 30ml bottle on me. I know it will be only military on the flight so i know there are some rules that dont really apply also during that and also we prob wont even have to go through the security checks and all if its anything like when i flew to Kuwait. I just want to be prepared before hand with what most people go through when they fly.

Can't speak for Germany. Mexican customs is also well aware of what they are and won't hassle you for your personal use stuff, even though they're technically still considered contraband. As long as you're not trying to import a suitcase full of new, ready for sale Isticks or something, they're cool. They do advise all lithium batteries be transported in your carry on, and out of the device if possible, though I wasn't clear on exactly why (was explained to me in very fast-spoken Spanish). Something like "easier to control in an 'event' if they're in the cabin".

When I returned from the US recently, I removed from packaging and packed my newly purchased IPV 3, Istick, 4 18650 batteries (as safely as possible in little plastic cases which I recommend), and 2 ego C's in my carry-on. My two partially filled Kayfuns, EVODS, around 100 ml of bottled liquid, charger, empty boxes, and other assorted junk went into my checked baggage. No leakage whatsoever, except a very minute amount from one of the bottles, and no hassles from customs.

The idea is that if a battery catches on fire in the overhead compartment (or elsewhere in the cabin) the flight attendants will know about it (and have fire extinguishers, etc so they can deal with it).

If something happens in the cargo compartment it's harder to tell what's going on, and they can't really get down there easily to handle things. If there's a fire in cargo they do have automatic extinguishers, but then have to land immediately.

Well the plane will probably be landing on a US military base so german customs most likely wont be an issue and i most likely with be flying with a weapon also just not loaded but even so i know there are some stuff they wont allow us to have in the plane but they may not even check. They told us the last civilian plane i was on that was military only they said if we have a knife they dont care just dont take it out or let it be seen by anyone in the flight crew and it was the flight crew that told us.
