Hey guys,

I'm from Australia but am currently travelling to the USA, just looking for some good vape shop recommendations.

We're visiting NYC, Washington DC, Anaheim, Vegas, LA, San Francisco & Waikiki (I think).

I've been chatting to a few locals in NYC and they say that the vape shops in the city are a bit overpriced, can anyone recommend any good B&Ms I should check out while we're here?

I'm not looking for anything in particular, probably grab some juice & hardware.

Thanks for any help.

If you're in NYC, you can check out Beyond Vape. Huge selection of juice and a nice selection of gear. The prices are not too bad as they sell both in B&M's and online. They are a chain, so they have several locations in NYC. The one place I've always gone to was the midtown location at West 31st Street.

FYI, if you "check in" on Yelp when you're there, they will give you 10 percent off your purchase.

Thanks for the info guys.
I do shop online (and usually order from the states), but I would like to check out a B&M in the flesh, we don't have many in Australia.
Fwiw, I've been to the Beyond Vape shop in NYC about 4 times, and every time I've gone there, there has been police in uniform there hanging out and trying new juice flavors and checking out gear.

Also... With Beyond Vape, would you expect the in-store selection to be the same as the online selection?
The one particular store location that I've gone to is a very small cramped shop. If you look at the picture of it from their website, the photo is basically from the front door and shows the entire shop. So their store inventory is not as extensive as their website, but they do have a good selection of the more popular products. But if you bear in mind that they do have several locations in NYC (and 4 locations pretty much within walking distance of each other around midtown and lower Manhattan) so if they don't have an item in stock in one location, they may have it in another.

They are more known for their juice selection though. They have literally a several page restaurant menu that lists all the different brands of juice they carry, as well as their own line. Last time I was there, we literally stayed for an hour and a half sitting at a bar stool at the counter trying different juices. Of course this was prior to the August 8th FDA date, so I don't know how they are handling tasting now. All the people working there are the hipster millenial type, but they are extremely friendly and even with a store full of customers, won't try to rush you out the door. There are some people who will go there just to hang out on the couches and vape.

I should also add that there are a ton of other "vape" shops in NYC, but the vast majority are really just smoke shops that also happen to carry vape gear and juice. I will only buy juice there since their juice prices are fairly competitive, but their gear prices are astronomical.

If you're in Anaheim, take the drive over to Costa Mesa and visit Local Vape. Ask if Bryanna is working, she's good folks. They have great selection, and they supply a fair portion of the rest of the country anyway. Prices aren't awesome, but the people are.

Yes, no doubt. The address is on Mesa Verde Dr. E. in Costa Mesa. It's a small space, but only because the back half of the shop is stock. Used to be my go to shop when I lived in Orange County.

ETA: They closed for about 5 weeks this past summer when a lady drove her Mercedes through the front window... I actually happened to pull up that day when she was still wandering around wondering what happened. I guess Google never updated the listing.
