Trick to filling MT3S tanks?

Got to be something I'm missing.

I know when you fill the tank some juice might come out of the drip tip... Seen in on the YouTube vids.

But last two times I've filled, it seems like ALOT of juice pours out.

I'm dripping the sides, none going down the middle... So I'm at a loss.
Might have something to do with the fact both times the tank was really low? (Caught out with no juice to top em off)

maybe try a needle tip bottle or syringe. or just be VERY carefull. I know when im in a hurry and fill mine to fast, the juice bubble goes down the inside tube, thus leaking out the mouth piece.

Tip the tank and the bottle such that the juice ie forced to run down the side of the tank.
Or
Buy a syringe and use for filling the tank

When I had the mt3s I always plugged the mouthpiece with a piece of tissue, when it was time for refill. Seems like the tank pressure pushes some liquid down the center when the base unscrews....

Think I'll try a q-tip in drip tip and make sure I'm not rushing the fill.
