I still get a crappy taste, that metallic, nothingness flavor...blech! I know I'm doing something wrong. I got my new Joye 510 and I have to say they're incredible with the vapor, I totally love mine. I'm just a bit baffled about that burned taste.

I read about everyone cleaning theirs with Everclear or mouthwash, so I gave the mouthwash a try on a brand new atty after blowing out all the primer I could. I let it dry for about 6 hours, primed it with a few drops of ECO Pure, but the flavor is still...meh. Not so disgusting, but not nearly as excellent as it was at first. Very weird.

Anything I missed, or any more suggestions? Has anyone been stuck with an atty that just doesn't want to give up it's stank?

I've been detecting a little bit of a chlorine taste on mine recently when the atty isn't completely wet. Dunno if it's always been there and I haven't had the taste buds till now.

I had a couple atomizers get fully gunked up off some "rootbeer float" juice and tried bathing in Listerine. Atty works fine now.. but I don't think I'll ever get the listerine taste out of it. :/ I think these will be menthol atomizers in the future.

An atomizer that you have been using can generally handle somewhere in the range of three drops.
But once you clean it, it needs six or more drops sometimes to get rolling.

When I have a completely clean atomizer, or one I have thoroughly blown out, I put three drops on the bridge and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I put another three drops on and let that sit for a minute. Then I'll try it and see where things stand.

As you learn more about atomizer construction and function, it will make sense.
