yeppers, same....only time I close it is to fill it, or when It's in my holster or shirt pocket...dont want any spillage lol

I never close mine. I lay it on it's side when I go to bed and I keep it opened in my coat pocket, and it never leaks. It's probably still not a bad idea to close it, I'm just lazy like that. Life would be miserable without my Ody.

yea unlike the original iatty, I havent found it leaking 'yet'.....closed or not...

getting off the subject though, I'm also looking forward to another's rebuildable coming out specifically made to fit a GGTS or stealth...I'm curious how it'll compare to the Ody.... I definitely like the Ody (hands down my favorite set-up) over the originall iatty, easier to rebuild, and a lot less airflow, and less leakage (so far none at all) so i'll be comparing that 'other' to both and see where it falls with Imeo's pieces of art and function

wig, I dont see a reason to be disapointed. I am sure you have a gas to your house. Also I am sending new ceramics to my sellers soon for free to all people that break theirs

I'm disappointed because I have had multiple problems with Ody hardware. It's sad because I know the Ody is great but I have yet to use it like it was intended. And it's almost been a month.

no worries bro....just a run of bad luck, it'll change. today is a new day....whatever you do, I wouldnt give up on it, Bruce and Imeo are working w/ you to make sure ya have it up and running soon :) speaking of bad luck....i was just up and about to refill my iAtty, and noticed the o ring that fits under the mouthpiece is missing, I dont have any spares.... being that time's limited for the next week for me, I dont have time to check the stores for the size....anyone with suggestions? (lol I was wondering why I've been having so many problems with it leaking lol)

edit: I have a ton of drip tips around, so I pulled an o ring off one of them and it seems to be working fine :)

nothing will happen Yak. The most possible is that metal will come developed so ceramic will come out easier

Thanks for the reply.
I was worried about changing the annealing properties of the stainless steel.
I've give it a good clean now.

What if a spare ceramic was added to the "upgrade" kits?

Yak.
Yak, Bright, Early <-- Pick any TWO!!

Flooding issues are usually caused by one of the following;
Failure to separate the top cap, grounding nut and o ring before reassembly which should be done in the following order top cap, o ring, grounding nut.
Failure to tighten the ceramic assembly tight enough.
Not tightening the mouthpiece all the way when filling.
Opening the mouthpiece up too much too soon.
