I had a FiftyOne for about 24 hours. If I remember right, what they consider "Medium" is pretty weak. That could vary from vendor to vendor though. Mall kiosk people are liable to say just about anything to make a sale. Last week I had one trying to tell me I needed to upgrade to the Fifty-One from what I had in my hand and was vaping when I passed his kiosk. Um, OK, I had a ProVari in my hand. lol

If you look on the cartridge, it should have a number on it - that will tell us what nic strength you actually have. For throat hit, you need higher nic levels. I barely notice any hit from 12mg, some from 18mg, and pretty decent from 24mg.

A 51Trio from the mall was my first kit also. The medium strength wasn't quite enough for me. Try holding your finger over one of the two airholes where the cartomizer meets the battery. You'll get a warmer, better experience. Saw this on a YT video. Saved me from smoking a cigarette in the beginning. Also, cupping your hand over the light as you draw helps also. Here's a link to the video. The last 2 minutes are the tricks. Fifty-One Trio E-Cigarette Tips and Tricks - YouTube

I wouldn't buy another but that $190 Trio kit is how I made the switch. It's as good as most auto minis out there. I'm still passing it around to noobs wanting to try vaping. Hang in there. Hope to hear happy stories from you soon.

Even though I didn't keep it any length of time, same situation here. Mine was a Smoke Fifty-One Duo, and it gave me my first smoke free day in 'too far over 20 years to admit to'. Funny - I did the same thing with mine. A neighbor asked a few days later to bum a cigarette because he was out. He was a casual smoker, so his needs were pretty easily met. When I moved out about a month or so later, he was still using it. Saw him out there on the porch with it... He hadn't gotten used to the idea yet that he could stay inside with it. hehe
