Tripod RTA issue no flavour

hi i get no flavour on the tripod rta. i tried several ways of build but same issue.
i used ni80 and kanthal coil,i changed liquid,i add remove c&c reducer, i add remove the small pins below the coil, i raised the coil.
what am doing wrong?
can anyone assist on the build for a good vape flavour?

What are your build details ? (coil ID, wire gauge,wraps, resistance, watts used)
What are you using for wick?
Is this your first RTA? What have you used before?
What brand and flavor of juice are you using?

A photo of the deck/coil/wick may help us offer better advice.

for liquid now am using ripe vapes vct. ohm around 0.8-1, watt 18-24. no used several atomizers my previous one was dvarw mtl fl

IMO, the build looks good.
Personally, I would give the coil a stretch to space it just a bit and I might stay in the 12-15 watt range.
How are you adjusting the air flow?
Which insert are you using?

When I get a new RTA/RDA, I generally need 10 builds or so to find the sweet spot of wire gauge, coil type , coil position, wicking density, air flow/insert preference and power.

Is the flavor weak, unbalanced, does it fade after a few pulls, is it dry, burnt, harsh?

flavour is very very very wick is like inhale and exhale just air.
airflows add the bottom are open

Your build seems fine...I would use little less cotton if i was you since there is juice control...but I can't believe that muted the flavour...
How u get no flavour at all sounds weird.
I don't own the tripod but I have seen the reducers it has and that has to do with how restricted flow u like...u should still get flavour no matter what...
I would also use a thin Clapton wire always gives better flavour for obvious reasons...
Someone will have the tripod and maybe suggest something to try...

Yeah with that 26ga coil it's better u go for tighter airflow....full open would be for bigger coil or Clapton I guess cause I have seen it has large hole....
I don't know how long u have the tripod but maybe there is something going on with your taste ATM?? Have u tried any other rta to check if u can taste it???

Well that's a bummer. I have a couple Atmizoo Tripod's and get great flavor. And it doesn't matter if mine are setup for MTL/RDL/DL.

In the Atmizoo Tripod thread I posted several build tips and photos.

There is an excellent video, made by our own Qorax, on page 2. It's worth your time as Q goes through everything on the Tripod including coiling and wicking.

I've built them using simple round wire, SS316L claptons and N80 aliens. The Tripod is pretty forgiving with builds and wicking. Building and wicking the Tripod is most similar to any of the modern Kayfun's (decks are very similar).

I like to have my coil raised ~1.5 - 2mm above the AF. See the following photo with tips. Trimming the wick tails to the ledge above the o-ring is key (like a modern Kayfun). You don't want your tails any longer than that. Trimmed that way they just touch the bottoms of the juice wells. Don't overstuff the juice wells with cotton.

I've run mine without the chimney reducer and with it installed. Tried all of the airflow pins. For wicking I use both cotton and rayon.

Dumb questions but I need to ask:

Is the JFC (juice flow control) open???

You said you tried more than one juice, are these juices you know well and have vaped in your Dvarw MTL FL??? And in your Dvarw you had great flavor with them???

Have you tried closing off some of the airflow? Try closing the AF ring to 1/2 way or 1/3 of the way and try it.

Are you actually getting any vapor at all???

When you have the build deck on a mod (no tank) and you hit fire is there vapor coming off of the coil???

I don't see anything in your photo's that would prevent you from getting good flavor.

i build it again with kanthal around 8 wraps ohm 0.93 a little bit space between wraps juice flow and air flow wide open no inserts and reducers with 3mg nikotine for checks at 20watt. i get some flavour but based on the overall comments for tripod am expecting some better flavour.i dont know if i will try 12mg nicotine ripe vapes vct and around same watts as know if i get something more for flavour

I don't think the nicotine will change anything....I wonder if the juice u vape was a sealed bottle or maybe it was a shake and vape and need to be steeped?
Try another atomizer if u have and tell us if u get any flavour from those

Yeah try cause many times our taste play games with us...try same build and similar airflow inserts and compare...
Shake and vape juices need few days before u vape them and get good flavour....it's not the problem now I guess since u always vape right away...but just keep that in mind....also now it's winter and colder weather makes juices take a bit more to steep from my experience...
Where did u get that cvt juice? Vapeland?

Try ni80 not that it matters much in my opinion as long as the wraps are the same u should get good flavour with both...
Also I was wondering about the tipod driptip I saw there is one that is threaded and it's very narrow??? In case u use that one maybe need to change for any other classic 510driptip...

SUB OHM COMENTARY:
"So seeing as I now have some good MTL tanks (Mouth to Lung) and repeatable setups at 8-12W, and some nice replicable juices, I thought I’d set up my predominantly DL (Direct Lung inhale) Bellus tank with a DL setup – dual Claptons 26/32G Kanthal (which incidentally took me three goes to get into the Bellus’s small chamber without shorting, details if you’re interested) and try my two current favourite juices – Pina Colada (AM vape), and Mild Sweet Cigar (PM vape) The verdict? Didn’t taste or throat hit ANY better. Sure it produced bigger clouds (subjectively twice as big?), but used 60W instead of 15W, and a directly proportional greater quantity of juice – I normally use about 1 ml/hr in my MTL tanks, this setup used 2ml in half-an-hour.
Bottom line - it appears you don't need mega coils or Watts for good flavor or throat hit. Admittedly it's taken MONTHS to find the right gear etc seeing as most manufacturers are aiming at the DL market (and why wouldn't they? The money is in the consumables..., but with persistence (/ADHD/OCD) you can replace cigarettes on the cheap... Happy to share what I've learned so far..."
