I just noticed that my Halo Triton 650mah battery gets pretty hot while charging, also it seems to take longer to charge.... this is not normal I take it. Time to throw it out?

Yes.... but you have to know what to throw out - the battery or the charger. IF you have another battery, try charging it and if it begins to get warm - stop - throw out the charger. IF you have another charger, try the battery on that charger and if it begins to get warm - throw out the battery. If you don't have extra either - if it were I, I'd throw out both charger and batt and have in the past.
