Yep, 808D-1 is of course the most standard of the 808s. I had Green Smoke, which is an 808D-2 batt, and not thread compatible.

The Triton threading is also known as vGo threading, and there are a number of vGo battery compatible devices such as the Kanger T3 bottom clearomizer which comes in both eGo and vGo threaded models. There are a few others out there as well. There are a number of mini-clearomizers that are threaded for 808 batts that work fine on the Triton, such as the T4 and M3 808 mini-clearos.

One can always purchase a 510 to 808 thread adapter to open up accessibility to 510 threaded devices as well.

For me however, the Triton tank is great anyway, and there is plenty enough 808 stuff out there.

G6 Threading is KR808-D1 and Triton is also 808 as well as the larger Triton thread. The Triton is NOT compatible with ego hardware but i believe there are a few things out there that are compatible.

Hm, my mistake. I believe I watched a video review in which whoever it was stated the parts were compatible.

Anyone knows what kind of adapter should i buy to use the triton tanks on a provari?
I don't believe that there is such an adapter. Whlie you can purchase a 510 to 808 adapter, there is no vGo (Halo threading) to 510 adapter, and the Triton Tank uses the vGo or Halo threads, not the inner 808 threads.

Well, not entirely incompatible with ego; they ARE thread compatible, but the positive pin on Triton tanks are higher up then eGo, so they won't fire in a standard eGo battery.

That's true, but the end result is the same unfortunately, and as far as I can tell there is no eGo to vGo adapter on the market, or at least I've never seen one to date. I don't have a problem with this was meant to retain compatibility with the G6, and many of us had/have 808 ecig stuff anyway. If at some point in the future I add a larger mod, well, for the most part I'd also be buying some larger tanks anyway, although it would have been nice to have been able to use the Triton tank as well.

I'm not sure if you already have the Triton tanks or not...

The Triton tanks have a very strong resemblance to Kanger T2 tanks. Those should be available in 510, 808, whatever else. If you already have Triton tanks, it makes some sense to get an adaptor. If you don't have Triton tanks already, it doesn't make sense.

Just my opinions.

JR, you are correct that the Triton tanks are almost surely adapted from the Kanger T2s, however, the poster wanted to use his Triton tanks with a device that has 510 threading. As the Triton tanks use the outer Halo (or vGo) threads, there are no adapters that convert vGo to 510 (or eGo) threading. It is easy enough to convert 808 & 510s to one another, but not vGo threaded devices such as the Triton tank.

There are vGo to 510 adaptors out there...

Thread Adapter | 808D-1 to 510 - EVcigarettes.com

vGo is 808D-1 (aka Triton's threading). You can probably find some 808D-1 to eGo adaptors if you look enough.

Edit: Found this too, which is 510 to 808D-1; I believe the opposite of the one linked to above. The description says: "This adapter allows you to use [DSE901 or KR808D-1] atomizers with [Joye 510] batteries or [Joye 510] battery-threaded devices. Use your KR808D-1 cartomizers with Joye 510 batteries or eGo!" But that might be the smaller cartomizer threads on the Triton and not the large clearomizer threads.

I haven't used this stuff or anything similar before, so don't assume that it'll definitely work.

510 to [KR808D-1/DSE901] Adapter

I saw that JR, but the description is a bit misleading. It does not convert the vGo outer threads to 510 threading...it is simply a 510 to 808 converter. Keep in mind that the Triton tank does not use the inner 808 threads, only the outer vGo threads, so that would not work with a Triton tank.

I would be happy to be wrong, but I have not seen any eGo or 510 to vGo thread converters...just 510 to 808.
