For me the regular nautilus can't be beaten for mtl vaping and i love the 5ml capacity. I tried the 1.8 clapton coils and they seemed the best at around 13w for flavor. Going to go back to the 1.8 nautilus BVC though.Run them at 10w and very similar flavor to the claptons but seem to last a lot longer and saves a lot on battery life.Good luck with whatever you choose!

Have you tried triton mini? I actually didn't try nautilus but was vaping on eleaf tank mini, and the flavour is uncomperable, I will try eleaf tank again tomorrow on pegasus with my driptip and see the difference, if it's that much better I'm just gonna go back to that one.

So what do you think why am I getting that smothered flavour from triton mini? And I am using the same BVC coils 1.6omh from nautilus, I don't really get it, it's the same liquid and the same coil just a different tank (and triton mini was supposed to be for mtl as well)
Good question to which I'm not sure of the answer. You say you switched to 12 mg juice which means you have a different bottle of juice. Perhaps seeping is involved? I don't doubt you are getting muted flavor. Try different juices and a fresh coil perhaps. Also I switched to a POM drip tip I don't like metallic drip tips.

I did a blind taste test with a nautilus mini, Triton Mini, and a Kabuki clone all using the same nautilus 1.6 ohm coils and same juice, same power (8.5 W), same drip tips. Verdict - flavor was the same in all three. I shouldn't have been surprised since it's the same coil being used. The Kabuki clone does have a smoother draw so I suspect that's why many claim the Kabuki has better flavor. But the top fill of the Triton Mini now has my Nautilus Mini's retired.

Seems like the Triton Mini is much more popular than the bigger Triton.

I tried the 1.6 BVC coils and they didn't perform nearly as well as the 1.8 which is baffling , i had all sorts of trouble with those 1.6 coils including a lot of duds.

The 1.8 is the most popular by far from what i hear.

I haven't had a bad batch of either, though I've heard of others who have. They both perform good for me. I get mine from Ecig.com or sweet-Vapes and always authentic.

Yeah I went to 12mg because 18 was too harsh in this tank, but first I had 18mg and it's still the same, I mean I tried a few puffs from a friend's curve 2 mini that I sold him and it was full of flavour and he is using some cheap watermelon liquid that I had and gave to him with ecig, I think every tank has a better flavour compared to mine no matter the quality of the liquid :(
btw what's seeping? :)

I can sympathise. I too am suffering from a muted taste from my triton mini. I'm using the 1.8 ohm Clapton coils but have also experienced the same issue from the 1.2 ohm coils.

I did a side by side test using the same juice in a Kanger aerotank v2. I was using lemon cheesecake flavour which tastes great in the aerotank, creamy with a slight citrus edge. The best way of describing the taste from the triton mini is a metallic chemical taste with a hint of lemon. No cheesecake flavour to speak of.
I'm wondering if it is indeed the tank causing this rather than the coil. I bought the black tank and have a theory that the method used to electroplate / coat the tank is having an effect on taste.
I also have a full size stainless steel triton and have no flavour issues with it whatsoever.
