Triton starter kit

Hello!

I just purchased 650 mAh Triton starter kit from halo. Currently, I have:

I was wondering will this new purchase of mine be a significant upgrade? I know not having to fill carts every other minute will be a HUGE benefit. I know this battery should be a lot stronger then mine currently but was wondering how much stronger?

I know I could of gone a twister/ego 1000+ upgrade starter kit but because I like Halo's e-juice so much i decided to give them all my business. (Besides, i can buy an upgraded battery from halo - it's just not part of the starter kit)

Any info/suggestions/tips/etc will be greatly appreciated as i am still pretty new to E-cig. Thanks!

Hello. The description for the Joyetech 510 battery is 2 hours of use.

The Triton 650mAh battery is going to last over 6 hours of medium to heavy vaping using the standard resistance coils that come in the 2.5ml Triton Tanks. The battery and tanks of the Triton are a huge upgrade. Congratulations!

I will point out that the Triton Tank system does not use 510 threading, so those Joyetech atomizers, or any other 510 device (Evod, protank, CE5, iclears, Stardust) will not work without an additional 510 to 808 adapter. Just an FYI.

I have owned the Triton Tank system for over 2 months, and I still love it and use it daily. I do not and have not regretted my purchase, and I would willingly do so again. It's a fantastic kit.

I hope you enjoy your Halo Triton Tank system, and feel free to upgrade further by larger batteries or the Triton Twist variable voltage battery. mAh is basically hours per use of said battery. 650 is roughly 6.5 hours. 1300 mAh is roughly 13 hours.

OP, welcome. Ditto to everything jef said. I would love to see the look on your face when you start vaping with your new Halo gear. In short, your going to love the vape. And I due mean LOVE THE VAPE! Hang around and read the threads. Full of tips and experiences that benefit all of us.

EDIT: I'm sure you will love your new gear so a tip is to anticipate your disposables and have those in hand. The reason is that Halo, like a lot of major major players is sometimes out of stock for something you need so my advice is anticipate and purchase when they have it in stock. Remember, we cant run down to the local gas station for a pack of cigs at midnight. My short list of supplies:

wicks
tanks
ejuice

The above are the minimum requirements so always have extras on hand.

Since we are all talking about battery capacities and longevity between charges, I thought I might throw in my two cents. As my 650 mAh battery discharges the vapor production reduces significantly for about the last half-hour before charging is needed. I just recieved a 900 mAh battery last Friday, and from the couple times I have discharged it, I have noticed that the aforementioned period of lower vapor production is extended to about an hour.
Has anyone else noticed this? Do you wait until the light is a-flashin' on the battery before you recharge or do you toss it on the charger when the vapor production starts to taper off?

It is my understanding that lithium ion batteries like these can be charged at any time, regardless of their remaining capacity. I tend to switch batts when vapor begins to subside.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

The reduced output is typical. Since I got down when my batteries would typically die, I recharge them a few hours before they're completely drained. Once in a while I'll have one completely drain on me, but not often.

If you want to eliminate the reduction in voltage, get a twist battery. They keep a constant voltage till they're completely drained. That was the main reason why I got mine. But being able to adjust the voltage is a far better benefit.

So there is actually a voltage regulator in the twist battery, not just a potentiometer to adjust voltage? If so, that's very intriguing.

As far as I know, it's voltage regulated. I've been surprised by the blinking light indicating the battery's done a few times.

Just got my VV battery in! So... what do I do with it?? Lol. The only thing I noticed in trying different voltages so far is that the second to lowest one has been best with every single juice. A little higher and things taste burnt. Too low and I feel like I should be getting more vapor. Do some juices just work better at the high voltages or something?

Also... and I know I sound like a total newb here but I kinda am so... whats with the differences in ohms with the coil? What does that even mean, and what should I be buying? Why?
