One would HOPE SO! What'd be the point of a dysfunctional ring....especially one that isn't beautiful!
Both of mine work great. Is it bent or damaged? Contact Halo support about a replacement.
I think the adapter goes onto either Triton batteries or ego batteries. It won't directly go on to a 510 threaded mod/mech. (onto a female 510) Like it won't work directly on an iStick. But it would thread onto the 510-to-ego adapter, letting you use a triton tank on an iStick.
The adapter will let you thread 510 attys (that have a male 510) onto the adapter to use on a Triton battery.

Did you see the pictures I posted on page 2 of this thread showing the different ways I used it? Dave is right it will only fit the battery side to eGo threading whether it's the Triton battery, regular eGo battery or for example on the iStick which is 510 but I used a 510 to eGo adapter on the iStick. It will fit any tank whether it is a Triton tank, eGo tank or a 510 tank.
Which battery and which tank are you trying to put together using the adapter?
Now that I read back, ckhk3 did ask about a 510 box. If that's what you have, then you'd need a basic 510 to ego adapter, like the one that comes with the iStick.
If your goal is to use a Triton tank on a mod that only has a 510 female connector, then you need this adapter plus the Halo adapter. Fortunately, the 510/ego adapter won't add any more height, as it will be "swallowed" by the Halo adapter.

And Evie, how is the Triton tank on an iStick? This is what I'm waiting for, the triton tank on a battery that will last me beyond a day!!!
It's great!!!! Imagine having a 2200 mAh Triton battery that is VV/VW. It is soooooo good!!! I can't wait to hear what you think of this little adapter.
Your going to love this Dave!!!!Thanks Dave and Evie. I'm trying to put the halo clearomizer on a Sigelei 100 w plus (I know, don't be too critical lol). Before I purchased the halo adapter I purchased an adapter from another place and the adapter is not long enough, the halo clearomizer does swallow the adapter. I was thinking about taking apart the 2 different adapters and trying to attach the 510 beginning on one adapter to the end of the halo adapter but don't think that's possible since it seems to be one component.

and several of my Halo juices just don't taste the same in any other tank! I guess it was the difference in 510-808 threading that caused the problem....the triton tanks have a much deeper pin than any of my 510 similar ones like the T2s.

Exactly. The female 510 connection has the center pin about 5mm below the top of the battery. When manufacturers wanted a better connection for the larger tanks, they added the ego threading to the outside of the 510, with the threads just below the height of the center pin. They left the inner 510 threads for backwards compatibility.
Halo uses the same diameter and pitch as the ego threads, but positioned theirs to be compatible with the superior 808d carto connection.
Unfortunately, out of the 4 major connections, the worst engineered of them has become the most popular, the 510.

One day on a whim, I decided to try my Triton tanks on my Vamo and it blew my mind when they worked together without an adapter because of the spring loaded pin.
I see the direction Halo is moving. Continuing their "proprietary" business model in this market would leave them stagnant. I bet we see glass tanks next.
