How does the Triton do with 100% vg juices? I primarily use Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic and sometimes the Tennessee cured. I was thinking of getting a Triton but don't want something that is fussy ie. needs a lot of cleaning or burns often. I don't think this particular juice is that thick but others can be that I may try. (Really prefer all vg juice).

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks :)

Triton does very well with Red Oak Domestic. It doesn't do very well with Red Oak Tennessee Cured. Red Oak TN Cured is not only too thick to wick at my preferred rate, it caramelizes like epoxy on the coil on cool-down between vapes and explodes with a louder than normal "pop" when heated up... and eventually breaks the coil. I either add one drop of distilled water to 2 ml of TN Cured or do a 50/50 mix of Domestic/TN Cured. I'm vaping a 50/50 mix in a Triton right now. Been vaping this Triton tank and coil assembly with that 50/50 mix for about 3 weeks straight... about 10-12 tanks worth of juice with no problem. My other non-Halo tanks/coils have no problem either with thinned or 50/50 mixed. But every top and bottom-coil type tank's coil assembly I've tried has suffered premature death vaping TN Cured.

I vape Johnson creek red oak Tennessee cured, red oak Wisconsin frost, red oak domestic and my new favorite red oak island.

All with the triton tanks. The ten cured will sometimes make a slight popping sound, but then goes away.

I've had no problems with these juices.

I wash and replace the coils every 3 to 4 refills.

I've been very happy with the triton tanks and batteries and I don't even vape halo juice.

From left red tank tenn cured , blue tank RO island, clear tank on batt domestic and green tank Wisconsin frost.

I have 2 of each tank now so I can wash and let them dry out while I use the other tank of the same color.

Thanks for the replies everyone :) Sounds like it may be what I am looking for. Right now I use an Emini (Eroll) and the Domestic and Tennessee cured is fine but the thicker juices seem to burn up the atomizer a lot so its a pain! How is the vapor production compared to this little device I have which I thought was pretty good?

Also I noticed that after cleaning doesn't work for these coils they need to be replaced but on the website to order I see there is a bunch of different ohm stuff which I don't understand. What is the default or what is the best one for my vg juices? Thanks again everyone!

Vapor production is pretty darned good on the Triton. :vapor:

Stock Triton uses the 2.2-2.4 ohm coil assemblies. The 2.2-2.4Ω coils are a good balance for all juices and either non-VV or VV (variable voltage) batteries.

You could simply add water...

I add a few drops of PGA to Southern Classic to enhance the liquor flavor. Of course SC doesn't need it; it's a pretty thin liquid to start with.

I leave well enough alone as it's one of my favorites. I do get complaints about the smell while I vape it though which I find odd cos I think it smells awesome too in the bottle or when I smell the vape.

And we are sure the complaints about the smell are about the vapor?
