RDA Troll, how do i love thee

Saw Todd's review on the Troll by WoToFo, yeah .... He was blown away by it's volume of vape/flavor, so I thought I'd give it a try. $28, not bad. Clouds?, blows my head off, flavor?, best so far. Using a green apple/strawberry equal portions, 50/50 pg/vg.

Now for the unbelievable part, this is a single coil build, 28g nickel, 7 turns on a +3mm screwdriver, 0.12 ohms, throttled way down (see pic 2, comfortable lung drawl), cotton wicked, 390 deg F and 23 watts on a dna 40 from protovapor. I LUV IT. Had been using a magma 22mm, single and dual coil builds for a couple weeks. WAS my favorite, BEFORE the troll came into my hands.

Just wanted to pass the word on this little beast (got dual positive post and 2 separate neg ones)

I'm a huge fan of mine, too. I use it opened all the way up with a chuff on top, just the right amount of airflow for me.

I've been looking at this rda for the last couple weeks. Design wise it seems nearly perfect, like a better thought out Mutation with good reports for both flavor and airflow. This thread probably pushed me over the edge, now to find the perfect drip tip for it.

The only downside is that if you want to use the top cap with the fins for air control, you'll have to use a 510 or a 20-21mm chuff. A 22mm chuff fits without the top cap, though.

Dude, I didn't want to see this. Been eyeballing the Troll since the Freakshow has made such a great impression in my vape rotation. I can get a v1 locally, see that the V2 is out. hmmmm.

Just received my Troll today and did an single coil .16 Nickel build and am pretty amazed at the vapor and flavor production of this rda. For only $29 I think this thing is a winner. I also have a Wotofo Freakshow on the way and hoping I have good things to say about that as well.

Make sure to check the negative posts in the freakshow, they are pressed fit in. I had gotten a troll and a freakshow at my B&M, when unscrewing the hex plug out, noticed the post moving. ... Closer inspection and the post just fell out. Took it back to the B&M and no-problem, they swapped it for another troll . Apparently the store was getting a fair amount back for the same reason.

I have the same problem with the center post but it seems like it will be ok as long as I pay attention when throwing a new coil on it

The flavor and vapor are amazing, and that is only on a .8 build at 28.5w. Blows away all the other RDAs I've had.

I put a twisted 24 gauge dual coil 3mm @ 0.21 ohms in my Troll and it's running at 100W on my IPV3. Good flavour, awesome vapour production. This is basically everything the Mutation X should have been. Now to get the wide bore drip tip.

Bought a Troll for my wife over the weekend after having good luck with the Freakshow. Was not expecting much but it can blow the clouds and get good flavor if you close it down. She's enjoying he heck out of it, as I am too. It's a serious piece of gear, easy to build on, lots of airflow options, very well made.

backed the 510 screw out just a tad for better contact, and I wonder if that screw is attached to the center post
maybe I loosened it up, and it isn't very loose, I just have to put a finger on it when I tighten the post screw

I'm going to turn that screw back in the half turn I gave it, and if that tightens up the center post issue I will post

ordering a second Troll, which seems to be my endorsement for thinking a product is insanely great. The only pieces of hardware I've ever bought 2 of are the Kanger Subtank Mini and the Troll.

Getting black this time so it matches my new Hcigar HB DNA 40.

Got 2 trolls cus I love it so much, AND getting a second kanger sub mini, cus it's now my new favorite. My second only build is chugging along like mad(first build i didn't capture the wire quite right, hot spot), 28g spaced nickel 3mm coil - 11 turns, 0.17 ohms, been 10 days now and still pumping out the flavor.

btw, peach/strawberry blend is my main.

I have the v1.5 of the Troll and I was wondering how to get the delrin bit out of the top cap? I bought the chuff top for the Troll and haven't been able to use it cause I can't get that delrin piece out. Can you not take it out of the v1.5 or are the o-rings just super tight? I don't want to damage that delrin piece but I would like to use my chuff top. Any help would be appreciated.
