Tropical Storm Danny Moving on Long Island

Emeraldites!

I've just heard from the news, and from Tone, that tropical Storm Danny is winging his way across the Atlantic and is projected to make landfall on the east coast, impacting Long Island, NY. The storm is predicted to hit landfall on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Tone, Fenez, Spikey, and others in the area effected by this storm..... I can't even begin to describe how this frightens me - you've all become great friends (thanks to the magic of Emerald, of course!!!), and I will be adding my thoughts and prayers to you all whilst you weather this storm. Batten down the hatches, guys.... I wish you well on this coming trial.

How about if we sacrifice DW to the hurricane Gods?
We clean up the gene pool, save L.I., Relieve Spikey of having to keep him in line, Tone, fenez and I sleep better knowing that the world is a cleaner place, VF turns into a warm and fuzzy place, (Naw.... that one's not gonna happen) and life as we know it becomes a joy again, and we all live happily ever after!!!
Voila!!! No downside, all positive changes, and little animals are once again safe from mankind!!!

Just got an update from Tone - no real damage at all - all they ended up with was a rain event -
