Hey guys...

I have a very hard time tasting almost any juice. I got a juice yesterday from a local shop and cant taste it anymore after 5-6 pulls every day. It can't be vapor's tongue already after a day. I've tried mixing up my flavors from bakery to fruit and it happens with both. It's really frustrating, if you can help, please do.

I've talked to alot of people and I don't know what to do. I hope you guys can help... Thanks.

5-6 pulls a day, your only taking 5 or 6 "drags" off your vape a day? since I find that hard to believe Im going to say, especially after a whole day, vapers tongue is highly likely.

I think he means he can only taste the first 5-6 pulls each day, then after that he can't taste his juice anymore. I notice that my juice tastes the best first thing in the morning, but I don't lose that much flavor even after vaping all day.

@Anticide, have you recently quit smoking? It could be that your taste buds haven't recovered yet. It takes at least a few weeks to a few months to recover your sense of taste. If your local B&M will let you sample their juice, take your rig with you and taste some of their stronger tasting juices until you find one that works better for you.

Each and everyday is different for me. Some days I taste my liquid so good that some of the flavors I love are too sweet. Other days I can only taste a little. It's so weird for me. I explain it to my girlfriend like its like biting into a piece of pizza and tasting nothing sometimes. Whenever I get those days where I can't taste much, I eat something very spicy, that does the trick a lot in waking up my tastebuds. Also when I'm dehydrated I can't taste. Make sure you drink lots of water to keep your mouth wet and body hydrated.

THIS!!! It took me 6 months to really be able to taste my vape at all -- I could taste the very-lightly-flavored tobacco vape I used at first, and it tasted like my cigarettes, but I really couldn't taste the sweet vapes I tasted at the shop much at all, other than just "a sweet taste" -- but after about 6 months of not smoking, I could actually taste the sweet flavored vapes... and the virginia tobacco flavored vape tasted like CRAP!!! I guess my cigarettes did too, I just got used to them. :D

I've been vaping over a year and still have days like that. I find if I just bite into something sour or something extreme, like an altoid mint, it resets the taste buds for a while.

I have days like that too. No taste, or everything tastes weird. I just ignore it; it passes, usually by the next day. Or if it seems to be only the vape that is tasteless or weird-tasting, I'll dry-burn and re-wick; sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't.
