Trouble with 510 USB passthrough in car

I just got a 510 USB passthrough. It works great on my computer but not in my car. I suspect the car adapter isn't giving it enough juice. Does anyone know of a car lighter adapter that works with this PT?

My Lighter-USB adapter has these specs: Input voltage range - 12-16V DC at 2A, 5 watts per port (5 volts @ 1 amp)

OK, I answered my own question. The 510 USB Passthrough requires at least 2 amps. The cheap car lighter USB adapters don't deliver this. I got an iGo adapter at Radio Shack that does 2.1 amps to two USB ports, but it was $30. Total rip off, but it works.
