Hi All! I got the V9 Vapor Cannon (Canon?) a few weeks ago, and it was FABULOUS!! For a couple days, that is. Now it does NOTHing! Light comes on indicating it has a charge, but any cartos I put on it, nothing happens (and I tried the cartos on a couple other batts and they worked fine). I'm thinking poor contact, like the "thingamajig (I'm still a novice and forget the correct terms :oops:) has gotten pushed down. I've had this happen on other batts and just pried them up a bit with a paper clip, but the thinnest clip I have still won't fit well enough to work. :( Any suggestions? Am I on the right track or should I be trying something else? I don't want to risk damaging it in case it's defective and I hafta return it. I have a ticket at V9, but I miss my Cannon and I have the character defect of impatience. Would have asked sooner, but I was traveling and didn't get a chance.

Thanks all for any help you can give me!

Hi ff-
Sounds like the center contact post on the battery might have got pushed down a bit too much. If this is the case, it's an easy fix :)

Remove the adapter piece and look in the threaded hole where it was..in the middle is the center post, it's surrounded by rubber and you should be able to gently pry it up with a paperclip or other instrument. Gently work it up around all sides and try your adapter again. If this doesn't do the trick let me know!

Okay, Ben, I realized when I re-checked your instructions that I wasn't doing it right, so I tried again (several times). Each time, I get one puff, maybe one and a half, then nothing again. And I made sure I tested the cartos on other batts and they were good. Helllllllp! lol Donna

P.S. I'm afraid if I work it any harder I'll damage it, just FYI.

I'm not in that bad of shape but I feel your pain. I'm having to pry it up 2-3 times a day though as it'll stop working out of the blue here and there.
Oh wise V9 folks, is there a way to make this contact stay put and stop dancing around on us?

Ben, HELP!
Down, that makes me feel a little better. We have plenty of other batts, but I love that thing. Ben, if they're all gonna do this, then I want something else. We've bot nearly every piece of hardware from y'all, but this may not work out.
