I do not have any of the AW 18650 High-Drain batteries. I have many of the TrustFire TR 18650 2400mAh. I have never had an issue with thses batteries and have used them with my SB and UltraFire WF501B Cree R2 flashlight.

On the battery it says "high rate discharge" I dont know how high tho...i may research it.

Has anyone with a provari used them and have had any issues?

I am #4592 and should be getting mine in a few weeks....hopefully sooner :)

Thanks :)

I use Ultrafire 18650s sometimes in my Provari, but only at lower voltages and only with great care not to screw the end cap all the way on since these batts are a bit longer. I think this is risky. Too tight might break the innards of the mod. Provape's warranty covers electronics, but probably not a crushed pcb. :(

These batts have more mAh than the AW high drain batts, so I get more hits per charge. Usually I don't use them in the Provari because I like higher voltage and don't want to shorten my Ultrafires' lives.

The way I understand it, IMR batts give less hits per charge, but can stand up to the beating of higher voltage vaping much better than regular batts.
