Hi everyone I am a new member and struggling with my new vaping tools. I am also really new to vaping. I started out using the new redds e-cigg's and loved them. The only down fall is the battery life and the carts i find burn out quick. I tried all the different cleaning methods but none worked one the cart is gone it is gone. I decided to try the ego-c kit. I love the battery life, but i find the flavour is just not there (tried standard and low res attys) I also find the vape really cold, which I am really not liking. I tried the crystal carts and like them, good vape and throat hit but again the flavour is just not there compared to the redds. I live in Canada so finding e-juice with nicotine is also hard. If any one can tell me a mod or model which will give me good vape, flavour and throat hit i will marry them. Tried dripping but found there is a metalic flavour with every juice i try so i am out on the dripping. Thanks Collectuer

With a standard ego c I'd recommend dripping on a Cisco low resistance 306 atomizer. If that don't float your boat you're gonna have a rough haul. Lol. From ur dripping experience chances are the atomizer had a primer fluid in it that didn't taste good. The Cisco 306 has no primer. Also get a reputable juice prolly around 18mg. Higher pg will give you more flavor. Higher vg will give u more vapor. Hope this helps.

Where you least expect it....
LOL Welcome to our forum. I hope that you like it here. Anyhow, what is the ohm rating of your atomizer. That will be a determining factor in how much heat is created. Along with throat hit. So, you might want to try LR (low resistance) atomizers or cartomizers.

When you get to the required post count of five and an hour after. You can check out the Canadian forum for more ideas of where to get your e-liquid.

2 things.

1st I would try using a VERY LR Cartomizer like a 1.7 ohm smoketech or a 1.5-2 ohm boge with your Ego battery. That outta give you a nice warm vape with good vapor and flavor.

2. I would either figure out HOW to clean whatever Atty you have that tastes like metal when you use it for dripping OR I would look into buying a couple NEW Atty's that won't taste metallic when used for dripping with your new Ego batteries.

You have nice new Ego batteries. You outta be able to end up with a nice set up using those along with some good flavored juice of your choice.

I don't know anything about redds and also don't know what you can buy in Canada. I can only recommend what has worked well for me. Which is either/or the Ego-T 1000 mah battery, or the KGO 1100 mah battery. Either and both of which, coupled with Boge 2.0 ohm single-coil cartomizers.

The Ego will be a constant 3.4 volts, the KGO will come off the charger at 4.2 and gradually decrease to 3.2 volts of power until it needs to be re-charged.

Both of these batteries since high ohms will last a pretty long time in-between charges, and the Boge cartomizers take about 2 ml of your choice of e-liquid (I recommend no more than 30% VG so that not too thick). Good vapor production, and the throat hit will depend partly on how strong of a nicotine level you choose.

I originally started with an ego kit and generic 510 cartomizers and went back to analogs in no time. A few months later I picked a few ego mega dual coil cartomizers and found them to be much more convenient as far as juice capacity. It wasn't until recently picking up a vmod 2.0 bottom feeder mod that I actually enjoyed gaping more than smoking. Lately I've been using the vmod during the day and have the odd cigarette here and there. As time goes by I find myself enjoying smoking less and less. Obviously, I highly recommend trying a juice feeding mod with atomizers if you want flavor + battery life + convenience.

You won't go far in life by threatening people! Lol !!

I forgot to mention in my PM that I am very happy with the Twist and Mini (2.0 ml) Vivi Nova combination and can't think of a more 'frig-free' combo. Canvape has them for a good price. (They were the first North American vendor to have the Mini) The throat hit is mostly about juice and that is a very personal choice so you will have to experiment with that. That's half the fun!

Relax, Enjoy!

So Calif
Looks like my biggest problem might be the juice it is 50/50 and really thick...

I vape 50/50 all the time and have no metallic taste or wicking problems. If your juice is too thick you can thin it very easily with a drop or two of distilled water. It thins fast so I would do one drop shake and look before another one.

Metallic taste is usually from primer in the atty or you let it get dry and it burned the coil. When that happens (burning) you are gonna have to throw it out.

I vape LR and love my nice warm vape.
