Thanks for the welcome to the forums!!!!
I shall see if my local tobacconist stocks any cato's and give one a whirl, (my hopes are not high as I would think he'd see this as the end of his business, lol).... It sounds about right that the "...." may have been filled with some absorbent material and juice of some sort, which would be punctured open upon insertion of the "...." (cato). The cato does have a very weak and inexpensive feel to the plastic it's made of (aka: disposable) and has a slight click on action as it reaches the seal to the atomiser. As to the matter of whether or not it's a cheapo disposable, I'm of two minds. It seems the only reason I'd be able to unscrew underneath the atomiser would be to perhaps screw it on to a recharger. Where the outside threaded part is the negative and the inner circle with the 1 mm hole in it would connect to the positive. They are shielded and if it was a once off use e-cigarette, I don't think they'd go to the trouble of making it threaded and detachable at all... It has air inlets at the LED end of the e-cigarette, as well as at the join, I suppose to promote the LED to light up as you draw air in to the e-cigarette. If it was designed to be recharged, does anyone have any suggestion as to what voltage and amperage should be used? I imagine a very small trickle charge is what is called for? Another quick question is, Is it legal to partake in the use of these devices inside say, a pub, workplace or other enclosed areas?
I thank you all for your comments so far and send my appreciation for anymore help that may be given.
