Hey, everyone. This is my first post here. I hope this hasn't been asked already, but I had no luck finding an answer through the search function.

Anyhow, I'm trying to find a battery/setup that would be good for use while at school (university, i.e., sitting for hours at a library computer desk) that I can just drop in my pocket while I'm walking around and not worry about breaking.
I'd like it to be small, have variable voltage (or even just the 3 step thing you see sometimes), and have passthrough capabilities. If it had passthrough, I wouldn't need a big battery and could just plug it in while doing homework (of which there's never a short supply).
At home I use an eGo-V V2 Mega 1200mAh with a Kanger mini Protank 2. I really like it, but I don't like having that giant thing in my pocket and am worried about breaking the glass on my tank.

Anyone have any suggestions?

These little guys fit the bill, but I can't find any reviews for these Viking batteries anywhere. Anyone have any experience with them?
(Sorry, just found out i'm not allowed to post links. It's an Ebay item entitled (exactly):
"Viking 650mAh Variable Voltage Passthrough Vaporizer Battery Ego eGo-T eGo-C 510")
Also a suggestion for a nice sturdy plastic tank would be great. I got an evod starter kit not too long ago; dropped that sucker a few times and it's still holdin' up. I could just use that in the mean time.

Thanks in advance.

I'd think an itaste vv3 would be perfect (comes with a passthrough). You can get one on ebay for under $30. I love mine and even though I also have a Provari, I use it all the time--especially when I am out and about. It does have vv/vw. Also it is square vs round, so won't roll away if you put it down for a bit. Google to find the best price if you decide to go that way...here is a link to one on ebay.

The Viking looks like just an ego (evod) clone to me. The MVP SingedVapor mentioned is great, but if you're looking for something smaller and passthrough, look at the innokin iTaste vv v3.0. It's no bigger than an ego and has more features. The price on that viking is great... but I'd guess it's gonna be hit or miss on quality. Just a guess; I know nothing about the brand.

Seems to me that the itaste vv is what you're looking for.

Thanks, everyone. Appreciate the replies.
I had the same feelings about that Viking, JaxMike. I think that one would be a gamble at best.
As for the iTaste, I don't really care for the square look, but as what I'm looking for is functionality over fashion, y'all are probably right about that one. I actually tried my tank on one for the first time just yesterday... can't deny it hit well and tasted good.

Yeah either Itaste VV3 or vision spinner. The vision spinner has a higher battery capacity than my Provari with the stock end cap. 1300 mah will get you all day, maybe even two if your just using something like a mini protank II. VV3 is slightly more advanced and has a kind of cool factor between the display and more precise adjustability.

MVP2 trumps both performance wise (IMO) but the size doesn't sound like it'll work for you. The VV3 I believe has passthrough (in principle) capabilities. Meaning that when you take a vape, it still draws off the battery, not the actual plug in. That's my understanding anyway

This is my pocket rig (on right) or the one in my Avi.

They are not VV but the are unregulated so they fire at 3.7 and that is good enough for me with my plastic T2. I carry an extra 450 with me if I think I'll be out more than a few hours.

What is the one on the right? Looks like an eGo (style) 450mah battery but what is the connecter and what clearo are you using. Looks pretty sweet! :) Also, what is the topper in your avatar? I've got those batteries and a 350mah battery which I use with shorty cartos for stealth but I can't tell exactly what is on top of the battery in your avatar.

Dang it! I knew of one place in China that was selling that and they called it an "eGo U adapter" - and now they don't sell it any longer and it's been removed from the site. They were about twenty bucks there. Can't recall what US sites are selling it (only one or two) but they are charging about double that for it.

It's interesting, but keep in mind that your eGo battery - and it's fire button - are now inverted. I never ordered one because it looked like holding it and the fire button placement would be awkward. :2c:

I started with a blu-ecigg kit, and my first "mod" (i cant believe I even called it that at one point lol) was the ebay, cheap little $19.99 Ego VV 650mah with the digital variable voltage LCD screen with 0.1 increments from 3.0-6.0v topped off with an evod, and let me tell you, WORLDS better than that blu e-cig lol...then about a week after I got bored with it and wanted more vapor, SO I started making some custom coils and re-coiled those evod heads with nano coils and WOW my evod heads taste, and blow coulds just as good as my kayfun tanks nowadays! :toast:

It's called a "sticker" search "sticker mini for ego". I'm in the process of buying one of someone for only $5 they said they got there's from f@sttech. But I know svomesto makes the original. For like $45

Here's the one at fasttech, they really need to change the name of it because most ppl would never be able to find it with a name like that or even know it's functionality. Comes with 45° tip adapter also.

Itaste VV VV3--it's not a true passthrough, but it can be used as one. You can vape while your battery is charging. The iTaste MVP 2 is 2600 mAh, but it's bigger and rectangular. Looks like a walkie talkie. :)

Add a Kanger T3S clearomizer or a ProTank 2 (mini or regular) and you're set.

Good luck.

It is the fastech "battery stand" ( $5.66 2-Post Display Stand Holder w/ Drip Tip Adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ) and it is a perfect stealth vape. Not at all auqward to fire but I do have to be careful that I don't let my finger cover the air holes on my T2. And yes, it is a shorty carto in my avi.
