After doing a lot of reading and research on carto's i'm trying to find the best simple set up for my ego-w 650mah. I had it boiled down to a smoktech DCT package that comes with a few extra carto's and now i am starting to second guess it after reading about hole punch issues and all of that. I'm fairly new to vaping and am not too interested in doing all of the extra things like re-building and hole punching, but if thats what will take to get the best vape then i'll definitely give it a try. I'm looking for a simple to use tank set up under 3.5ml (but will settle for a 3.5) for vaping a 50/50 VG/PG liquid that will produce a good vaping experience with little to no hassle. TH and all of that is perfect with the set up i have now so i am more so focused on vapor production and longevity. If anyone can toss out some options for me i would appreciate it! Quick newb question, if i were to buy a package of replacement boge's can i put a tip right on the carto or do i need a tank to go with it?

Welcome , but personally , I think you should look at some of the current clearomizer's on the market . Lately , I have been using several of the different Kanger's out there . And besides the Evod , and T3's , I purchased a Pro tank . It works the same way as the smaller clearo's , but holds more juice and has a pyrex tank , so you can use any juice in it . When you get one of those , they come with a little collar that is made to work on an Ego . Good Luck

Toss the carto's and get a vision vivi nova ... hassle free and cheap to maintain.
No punching or whatever... every few weeks twist a new coilhead in and your done.

Yeah i was looking at the vivi novas, thought you had to re wick those and everything but do the replacement coil heads come with all of that attached?

Replacement heads are just what the name implies, replacements, remove old one install new one, done ready to vape.
Yes you can re wick and re coil vi vi's or bcc's if you chose to, but, you don't have to if you buy replacement heads.

Everyone has different opinions, what works best for them may not work well for you.
I much prefer BCC / bottom coil over vi vi nova / top coil for some it's the other way around.

Thanks for the quick responses with my posts throughout the forum man you've been a big help. Pretty sure i decided on the mini vivi nova, anyone know if there is a package that exists that comes with only 1.8ohm replacement heads?
