All is well in Reoville again. Thanks Jeremy! My O ring in my juice bottle somehow got disengaged and was blocking juice flow.

As a result, my wick wasn't getting proper juice flow and I was squonking juice inside the Reo.

At first Jeremy was like, you aren't squonking hard enough and pressing really hard, and I'm like, that can't be right, I wasn't having to press that hard the first day.

He rewicked me, and drilled the air hole to 1/16 for me and I'm a happy girl again!

OK - so another dumb question - how do you make sure that it's away from you? IE, how do you get the RM2 seated so that it's away from you? I vape so that the button is on top when I tilt, and the tip is at the bottom - and my coil and air hole are both there too. It's the most comfortable for me holding it that way.

I thought that maybe having the coil tilting towards the bottom hole as I vaped might give me a better wet hit, rather than dry.

But that's why I'm here, to learn from you guys!

Just make sure the hole is up. I have mine so that the hole faces the button and the hole and button are up when I fire it.

Funny, my setup is exactly opposite; the button is on the far side of the hole. I experimented a lot with what setup I like best and arrived at this one because I can hold the REO in my right hand, kick it with the thumb and squonk with my ring finger.

Think I'll do a separate thread with a poll on the different ways of holding the REO. :)

I'm still newb, only had a Reo for three months, for me the air hole is facing the button. I fire it with my index finger and the button on top, air hole facing up.

when I was learning the squonk I tried an experiment. I blind squonked while recording video of the inside with drip tip off. it helped a bit more than squonking while looking.

well it burned, now I did again the micro, but theres no clouds at all and it taste bad , any tips please ? thanks

I noticed with my self-modified for BF cyClones that I had to hold the squonk a little longer than with a RM2. I think because with the center feed hole it drains better. that's good and bad. cyclone won't flood as easy but reomizer will have a little extra juice in the dish to wet the wick a little more.

are you using stock airhole on the cyclone? might need to bore it out a little to get more vapor.

I've never had a problem with leaking.

I give a good firm 3 second squonk, wait 2 seconds for juice to drain and the wick to soak juice into the coil, and I get 3-4 nice long puffs. Just like dripping, only from the bottom!

No need for sucking, hole covering, listening for a gurgle noise.

One possible thing I can think of that may cause leaking from squonking is either using too much wick, or the coil is too tight around the wick and the "system" isn't working efficiently; either scenario leaves a juicy mess of wick hanging around the deck.

The wick should be loose enough to pull freely back and forth inside the coil, and just long enough to make contact with the deck; not so long as you have to stuff it around anywhere. Use a short, loose wick, leave the juice feed/drain free and clear, and the RM2 will never leak.

The RM2 is so tiny that it doesn't work so well holding extra wick as a juice "reservoir." I realize if you had a whole mess of wick stuffed everywhere on the deck you might get away with only having to squonk every 6-10 puffs, but it'll get leaky on you. Also, what are we talking about here? Are Americans to lazy to squonk now? It's not "good enough" now?:p I kid, I kid.

On the lefty/righty thing... I don't get it? I hold the Reo the same way in both hands; button facing my forearm, pressed with my thumb like a detonator. When I squonk, I just hold the Reo like I was answering an iPhone with one hand, and let my opposable thumbs do their thing. No biggie. Some of you guys hold your Reos in very strange ways! I do use a knucklehead drip tip and tend to just flip that one direction or the other depending on what hand I'm vaping with.

Everybody has different approaches to squonking, wicks and coils. I like a a long wick all soaked up and lasting for many vapes. My deck is wet and I like blind squonking too. I never have a leak. I use my index finger to fire my GRand. THere are no absolutes. Everyone finds what works for them. Its all good. :)
