I've had some good experiences with e-cigs so far:
  • SafeCigs - Overall, a good experience (but they didn't quite leave me satisfied). I stuck with them for about 6 months (supplementing with analogs or nic patches) before stumbing onto ECF, where my horizons broadened.
    ...
  • NoEgo 18650 - Amazingly quick order fulfillment, love the look and feel, and it works very, very well!
    ...
  • VapeRite - I had all of my hardware, but no e-juice. I had ordered some from well-known vendors, but they hadn't arrived yet. (Not a criticism of them; I ordered late, and I know these things can take time.) Enter VapeRite. They are local, so I called them up, and basically begged for some e-juice. They not only allowed me to pick up my order on 2 hours notice, but also threw some extra bottles into my sample pack. WOW! Very nice people too. Thanks VapeRite!

Before I got my juice from VapeRite, I had run out of SafeCig cartos for a day, so I ended up smoking a pack of analogs while I was waiting. Yuck! I just can't stand the stuff anymore. Now I am very happily back on vapor, and trying out my various juice samples.

Initial reactions? Some flavors I like a lot, some not so much. Not too surprising, right? That's why you get sample packs! I seem to gravitate to the tobacco flavors, and THANK YOU VapeRite Todd for throwing in those extra tobacco samples while I was there.

I'm loving it...

I have to agree about VapeRite. I've had good experiences with the juice and with Todd's customer service too. I only wish he had larger bottles so I could buy larger quantities.

Congrats on finding your groove! The NoEgo was going to be my choice of first mod before I decided on the big guns, so I'm glad to hear you're loving it.

Thanks to all for the encouragement.

Strange, I always thought of vaping as a way to reluctantly wean myself off of analogs. Now, I can't imagine myself happy with analogs ever again. I'm off the patch, off the analogs, and I feel great!

I kind of didn't even know what to expect of E-cigs when I was first considering them. I wanted them to be a complete replacement for tobacco, and what I'd read of people using them was encouraging, but experiences being as personal as they are I just really couldn't get a good sense of what they'd be like for me. All I knew was that they were worth a shot -- and they weren't that much more expensive than those stupid Nicorette inhalers I wasted $45 on, most of which are still sitting in my desk hutch. Fortunately they worked far better than I ever could have hoped for, and there wasn't even a transitional period for me. It was just, one minute I'm having a smoke, the next minute I'm vaping and never wanting to touch another paper stick again.
