Dual coils=more heat(lower ohms), larger coil surface area bigger airflow. Just take one of yours out and you'll get a big difference.
I like to run single coils myself, even in 'competition type' rda's but use clapton's or the like which give lots of vapor and flavor almost equivalent to a dual setup because of the large single coil and surface area. You can also try a single parallel build.
For wicking a hot single coil I like to use the Scottish roll.

Thanks guys so basically run your wicks on the outer perimeter of the inside of the deck until you reach the non coil side is what I'm gathering. I'm using staple wire right now I have dual coils 3mm 4 wraps at .18 ohm. And in my Griffin I have five wrap dual coils at .22 ohm. So vertical coils interesting... Do you wick it with cotton inside the coils as well? Any good links on vertical coils? And what's the difference vertical or horizontal?@juicynoos @tejas
