Bought a tube tank from my malls volcano store. The tank is not working at all. When i screw it on my lava tube and joy tech battery I do not hear the cartomizer making that "psssh" noise when i activate the lava tube and joy tech. Could i have gotten a faulty one? Or is there another problem? My other cartomizers work fine on my devices. If there is no way to fix this I am heading right to the mall tomorrow afternoon to see if i can get a replacement.

okay so i got my replacement today and finally the cartomizer works. Now i have another problem. Filled up the tank and I am getting this really warm plastic tasting vapor. This tank is brand new and filled it up some of vapor bombs 50/50 green apple. Anyone know what is wrong? Seem as if the atomizer itself is not getting any juice flow in the small hole of cartomizer. Should i just let this stand and have it soak up the juices? This is the 4mL tube tank btw.

You may need to either widen the hole or add another hole to the cartos to get it to feed your juice. I've noticed that the factory punched flanged cartos aren't PG friendly. I use a 10%vg/90%pg mix and I occasionally have to pull a few dry hits without activating the device to get it to refill. With thinner liquids it works fine.
I used a specialized hole reamer to widen a few of my cartos holes, but I suppose a nail or leather punch would probably work. Just be careful not to over-penetrate the cartos or you could hit the coil or center tube which would lead to leaking/draw issues.

The funny taste is probably due to not completely filling the carto. Top it off and verify that its filled, then let it sit and soak for a minute or two before firing it up. There might be a slightly off taste for the first few hits on a new carto, but it goes away after a minute or so if it was filled properly.
