ok Casey, ong999 vouches for you and is giving his spot to you so you take his place. I'm working on a batch of ultems that are going to come up here this week. I'm putting you in his place for now as an amber ultem but if you want black or 2 tone then just let me know and i'll make the appropriate corrections, moving to a different list you would still keep your same spot# so either way you should be up pretty soon. I'll notify you as to when yours is ready for payment

Thank you very much and I'm so excited, your work is amazing and to be honest I don't care if it's black ultem or amber ultem. As long as I can get one that's all that matters to me.

yeah 67 tele did have one of his buttons sticking because his face plate was wood and it got a bit tight I guess from humidity and the natural expansion of wood under tight tolerances so now with wood mod faceplates I'll leave a little more button clearance to eliminate this possibility. his battery was also a bit of a tight fit for him so I took care of that too but I have now come up with a new improved negative spring setup so this won't be an issue going foward.
if I ever have any kind of issue come up with any of my mods I try to improve my design to solve it and make sure it never happens again. over the past few months I've made many little tweaks and modifications to my designs and processes and I'm pretty sure at this point I've got all the bugs worked out and am as close to a perfect trouble free mod as possible, but that being said, if ANYONE EVER has any issues at all with a mod from me I'll do whatever I can to make it right no matter what, right down to completely replacing any mod that someone is not completely happy with. I actually welcome any complaints or criticism on anything here and I have no intension of hiding anything. nobody and no mod is perfect and I always try to do whatever I can to improve and strive for perfection as much as I can, so rest assured I'm here for you and any problems you may ever have with your mod, even if you fluck it up yourself, I'll always be here to help and take care of it for you. I'm not just a modder but I'm a vaper too so I know how it feels to have a mod that is less than perfect be a real PITA. I don't ever want any of my mods to ever fall into that category so any issues please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm not just here to sell you a mod and take your money, I really want to be a modder that produces some of the best mods out there at any price.
bottom line is I really want my mod to be one of your favorite mods, not just some mod that sits on a shelf. I want you to be truly happy with your purchase not just to take your money
^^^THIS. The world needs more of this. You're a quality guy makin' quality product, turbo. Waiting patiently for my spot to come up and on that day the walls will shake from my joyful roars.
alright guys, as I've said before I won't ever accept any money for a mod until I feel it's ready, meaning body done for the most part and ready for just the electronics install, so even though I have had several of you kindly offer to send me money in advance that just goes against all of my principles and personal rules, so I refuse to do that even though I know the next batch is probably about a week away from this point, it's still just not soon enough for the situation I find myself in atm.
that being said I'm kind of in a desperate situation atm and I really need to raise some cash immediately because I'm at a deadline that would start to affect my credit rating if I miss this payment which will be delinquent in 2 days so the only thing I can think of to do here is to offer up one or both of my 2 current daily use mods at a great price in hopes that someone would be able to buy it right away...
what I'm offering here is your choice between these 2 mods, either one at the low price of $375 + $7 usps priority shipping for the USA, PP immediately. I love both of these mods and use them both every day but sometimes sacrifices have to be made and I'm willing to sacrifice at least one of these because I have no choice, so first one to step up and offer immediate PP will get the one of there choice and it could ship out to you tomorrow. the ultem one has only been used for about a week or so and the other has a brand new dna250 chip installed in it about a month ago and also has been used lightly with no real damage to speak of, just some normal light signs of use. the ultem one does have a spot with some minor stress marks that shows on the door, you can see it in the pictures kinda looks like a fingerprint shape right where the top of the bottle is but doesn't take away from the mods appearance too much really... both have sunbox silicone bottles in them as that's all I use on my own personal mods...
this has nothing to do with the list here and you wouldn't loose your spot on the list and you are eligible even if you're not on the list too, first come first served based on the time stamp of your post or PM. either one is a great mod at a great price I think, good luck

and here is a shot of this batch as it sits now, mostly machined.
after they're all machined and shaped they will get another round of heat treat annealing before polishing
both of the mods I posted earlier are still available, not much traffic here on a late Sunday night, guess we'll see how it goes by the morning

Just received my all-satin black Ultem DNA75. IMO black Ultem is the ultimate mod housing
material. Looks good and feels great in hand.

I know this was written somewhere in the thread but not sure where. What did the dimensions of the ultems end up being?
