Turtle Ship v1 am I taking a chance?

Hello,
I just got the Turtle Ship V1 after taking it home I found out about the vent hole problem. The vape store does not want to take it back. I usually use a fuse on my sentinel to be safe but a fuse does not fit on the turtle ship. I am stumped here . I am not sure if I should sell it on the market to sell.
Would like if anyone has been using the mod with the vent holes being blocked or if they had any other problems.

Clone or Authenthic? The vent should be by the button and locking mechanism. I wouldnt shop at that B&M any further if they dont allow returns on new purchases.

It's Authentic. I even spoke to the owner who is a very reputable in the Canadian vape community and he couldn't care less. He said he has to speak to his supplier but if they won't change the lock he won't take back the mod
Yes. It is by the lock button but when the firing button is locked it blocks the air holes completely !!!

Coming from a multiple Turtleship owner, hi. go to btvape.com and purchase a V2 lock ring. 10 bucks.

And don't worry about using the mod for a couple weeks, it'll be fine, the lock ring venting is only in case of battery vent. Just keep the lock ring a bit loose from locking on top so the mod can vent if necessary. Or you could always take off the lock ring temporarily.

Thanks for the info. I will do that. Now all I need to figure out is how to get the fuse to fit inside
