If the twist worked for you and you are not looking at more advanced mod's (like Vamo or something similar) than why not?

Twist seems to endure for a lot of users here even tho I', looking at VAMO in my near future. If you go with that, than you will have to learn a lot more in regards to battery's and Ohm's and current and how to built your own coils too! So it is a big step up.

Good luck with what you decide.

But remember, back up to back up. With out backup, you are only as good as "Hey !! Where is my ??? Dammit!"

Cheers!

I've had a few joye egos over the years and most have died 'natural deaths' :) Noticeable longer charge times and shorter vape times happen within the last 2 or 3 months ...ymmv... and in the last 2 weeks to a month ...again, ymmv... at the end of a charge the button led will fade to off rather than just quit like normal. You'll get a few more vapes after the fade but it's time to charge when you see that and it won't last much longer.

I just received the Itaste v3 and like it a lot. My next step is the get a MVP v2 (whenever it will be released). I do have my eye on the Vamo or SVD, but I don't know how completely satisfied I'd be with the 33.3 hz hisssss...

Until then, in a pinch, I'd like to spend around $20 for another dial style

Considering how long these have worked - and are still working - why change horses? (Ok, bad metaphor...) I have plain JoyeTech eGo batteries that are hitting the two year mark and still work. Admittedly, the don't see much use. But they still hold a charge and come in handy when I need them.

It could be a combination of things: Charging frequency, resistance of the devices you are using, and overall goodnik care you have given them. But if I had a disposable battery give me the lifespan you are getting, when it came time to replace I would go get another one of the same.

They don't seem to last as long as they used to either.

Now do I get another Twist, or are Spinners or Winders the way to go now?

This isn't from personal experience, but I've heard that the Spinner's voltage indicators at the bottom are much easier to read than the Twist. Other than that I'm not sure of any difference. I do know that I love my Spinner though!

Now, I've read the Twist have the higher amp limit and basically the Spinner and Winder are the same build (not knocking Spinners, though)

It's time. Considering they are 9 months old. Battery should last about 300 re-charge circles. So if you recharge them every other day, they should last approximately 10 months.
You are just about there if you recharge them every other day.
    Time for battery refresh!
Not sure I get this - is one "charge circle" charging the battery up and then using the battery constitutes a second "circle?" I was under the impression that I could charge a battery about 300 times, meaning they'd last me 600 days or well over a year if I charged every other day, provided I didn't find a way to break them first...

My in-built calculator was working perfectly but my fingers were not? It should say " Appx : 10 months if charged everyday and 20 months if charged every other day."

Sorry if I have confused you. But that is given your battery is in perfect and everything goes according the plan. But you know how that goes? For example - my original battery for my cel phone lasted ony 7 months! It should have lasted at least 2 years! So it is much to my dismay ..... YMMV.

    Regards.

Thanks for the clarification! I figure if I can get half the "expected" life out of a product, maybe a little, more, I'll be a winner. I have this mental battle going with myself where I want to actually save money vaping but during breaks at my second job I've become so adept at shopping for vape supplies I've got the numbers to my two favorite credit cards memorized...so if I'm supposed to get 20 months' use out of my batteries but I actually average around a year given that premature failure/operator error like dropping things happen, that should be plenty sufficient to get my money's worth out of them and allow me to budget for continual replacements. However, if something is "supposed" to last 10 months, I wouldn't expect to get more than six given my typical mileage on consumer electronics, and that could be a little taxing...
