Twisted 24/26 kanthal

So I was playing around with my velocity today after getting off work today trying to build a triple twisted 26g kanthal and even with a 2mm screwdriver I was getting frustrated trying to get it to fit without a short.

So just for experimentation, I decided to grab some 24g and a section of my 26 cause it all pretty much sprung off my reel and I didn't want to try and untangle it and then twisted one end of it together by hand and fed the other end of it through a binder clip (just what I use for twisting wire lol) and twisted it all together.

Using a 2mm screwdriver and 8 wraps, each coil came to about .25 and heating evenly and everything and its probably the strongest flavor ive gotten out of the velocity so far.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this or anything. Here's a pic of it.

pics a bit fuzzy but looks ok

on ya next go try a vertical coil build works great in the velocity

duals wicked seperatly each fed from the base and snipped off at the tops flush or just above the posts

heres a couple of pics i did earlier in my Aromamizer on the velocity deck abit smaller than my velocity rda

dual twisted 26awg 7wrap 5mm id 0.48ohms

5mm is pretty dam tight on this tank deck but it fits just gotta nurse it in gently
