Hi all!

I finally decided to take the leap and have a go with my AGA-T3. My only experience with e-cigs before this was with SmokeStik and eGo/Kanger set-ups, and the tutorials I've managed to find on YouTube are mostly for the T2, so a couple of issues did come up and I thought I'd post them here. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out!

1: The Translucent Rubbery "Cap"

AGA-T3 Rubber Cap.jpg

Having disassembled the entire unit, I still have no idea where this goes. It looks like the horribly leaky seal which goes over the centre post on Kanger tanks, but I can't seem to figure out where this fits on the AGA-T3.

2: The Positioning of the Two Centre Posts

Center Posts with Holes.jpg

I noticed that there are two overlapping centre posts on the AGA-T3 with circular slots on each which can be aligned by twisting the inner post. Would the alignment of these affect the use of the atomiser in any way?

Aside from these, my first effort with an rba seems to be going better than expected, definitely in no small part due to the resources available here. I've set it up with a 1.8ohm silica/kanthal wick-and-coil and it's vaping AiV's Cupcake City like a dream:vapor::vapor::vapor:.

Hi muzichead,

From the video, it seems that he's aligned the two holes and that they're there to ensure that the wick is constantly fed.

It does raise the question of why they are adjustable, though, particularly when there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust it on-the-go without uncoiling the wick. Not a big issue for me, as I've gone through about four tanks with the holes aligned and there don't seem to be any issues. I've even left the unit lying horizontally for an hour or so, and it didn't leak at all.

As for the translucent cap, it didn't seem to be part of his set-up as well, so I'll just leave that out for now.

Thanks for the link!

So I wrote in to their customer service, and their response was as such (paraphrased):

1) The slots on the centre posts are indeed to control the flow of juice ("oil") into the wicking chamber.

2) The 510 connector can apparently be unscrewed, and doing so will reveal...

So I thought that I'd taken everything apart, but apparently not .

I actually wasn't expecting a to hear from them, but they really came through with a very quick and thorough reply. Top-notch customer service, if anyone ever needs to hit them up.

ed: Sorry - no idea why my embedded images are showing up like that.
