Two Companies very similar name, different locations

As some would say, i tend to find the weirdest stuff on the internet, which seems to have moved into vaping (atty's for 808's, 901/808D-1 to 510 connectors[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] so as to run ego carts and atties on 808's)

Supplier web site's is the same.....and i thought i would toss this out there as i just found it and not sure how people know of this, now keep in mind i do not have a vested interest in any manner here (aside from the name of vapor being spelled vaper there seems to be a world of other differences once you get there[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]

Not very many products on there right now, but after putting something in the cart to see what shipping was like and seeing $15 standard shipping.......the site can sit there IMO seems way to much when you start making larger orders.

Yeah i know the post seems pointless, but just though i would toss all this out there​

if you're going to try to start up an ecig business like this, why would you 1) copy another sites' name and 2) have completely noncompetitive prices and shipping rates?

Edit: I also noticed they include a bottle of juice in this kit....I'm assuming a 10ml since that's all they have elsewhere on the site...but it doesn't actually say in the kit. Still, a 10ml bottle shouldn't cost the $20 difference......then again, FlavourCrafters juice is ridiculously expensive compared to other sites.

comparison: $14 for 30ml at MLV, or $4.66/10ml compared to $8.49 for 10ml at FC.

and, strangely enough, the juice is $1 cheaper there than at Flavourcrafters.biz itself (for a 10ml)

i did notice that it says a listed price of $7.50 but the odd part is you cannot add it to your cart while a stardust is $7.00 (no idea the resistance) and you can go to vapor geeks (in B.C) and get it for $5.99 + have the choice of the SR or LR (we now pause to say that all past issues i said in the forum with the stardust i now see was SR. Since i got the LR i am having a serious ball and love it so much i just ordered 2 more)

The DCT is also $11, though it looks stainless still, it is posted as V2, which i thought V2 meant 3ml?

Call me weird, odd, or what have you.....i have a tough time vaping (ha ha!) the fact shipping is a rate of $15 (plus your taxes) when i have paid no more then $13.49 for next day service from other companies

So i made one order as i said above about Vapor Geek (from BC), then after seeing Flavor Crafters is on vacation and closed i went back to vapor geeks to make a juice order (as they where taking the money out for the two stardust's and dual coils for the DCT tanks)....placed the second order not thinking and got a email saying they would like to make just one larger order so as i could save on shipping....

now that impresses me

sadly though i had to sacrifice not getting my XL bloog's like i wanted from Happy Vaper for this, but you have to crack a few egg's if you want to make a omelet right?

From the look of it those are genuine Joye batteries, which would explain the price. (Joyetech have minimum pricing requirements for their vendors.)

However that does seem quite odd that they'd pick the same name as another, well-established vendor in Canada. I have to think they must be aware of Vapor Geek. Maybe I might drop them a line and see what's what.

EDIT: Dropped him a note. And for some reason, the owner's name rings a bell, but I can't place it.

I noticed with the BC vendor or Vapor geek (great vendor) that they have the genuine ego "upgrade" for a awesome price, and through i sitting on the fence with a mod right now, i think i would like this one either have a solid 3.3V or switch to vv where you start with 4.7 and as the battery drops you switch to 3.7. Reminds me of the pass through i got (that i was told was not unregulated -- but it is, tested it with a volt meter).
As for the cat's name, it does indeed ring a bell and i think i have a reason for it: either it is due to Why we make robots a interview with the same name and CBC or the wrestler "GoldBurg"

For digitaleh i went there and got a page informing me of a internal order, when i used google to show me the cached copies of the site it shows a web hosting site

For Canvape, i will add my voice to a good few who are not happy with them, as we all have our stories to say about them, and i guess in can see both canvape's side and the disgruntled customers side of the story there.

With what you posted that could be why the name rings a bell i am not sure, but i do know that with myself trying to get my own business and the sister free-help desk (two different names) off the ground, and as easy as it would be for myself to take the code, fonts and colors then change a letter here and there to get customers, it just seems way to dirty and low handed to do you know what i mean?

It is weird, but Andrew probably had a reason for it. What about Canvape.com & Canadavapes.com? These are pretty close, too. I like originality - Jugheads stands out for me.

So Andrew from Vaper Geek got back to me. He wasn't aware of VaporGeek and was surprised to learn of them, so it seems to be a coincidence. (Probably not that far-fetched as it's not a particularly unusual concept.)

He also wanted me to relay that he does, in fact, own DigitalEH hosting (it's his other venture), and he's still in the midst of tweaking pricing and shipping costs (he's already changed some, and shipping was reduced to $7.50) so what you see seems to be subject to change, as he still seems to be working on sorting things out.

I don't know how Lae will react to Vaper Geek's name being so close to her store's own but they can work that out among themselves.

Also, I think he's a subscriber to my YouTube channel (he mentioned being a fan of my reviews), so that may be where I recall his name from. (Yes, I look up my subscribers when I get notification. I like to get an idea of who's watching and where they're from. I'm not a stalker. )

lol! I don't really go into much depth; generally I just look at where the subsctiber is from, and if they have videos I'll see what videos they're posting -- mainly to see if they do reviews too.

I think it would be great to make sure there is a great distinction on the companies, it would cause less confusion in the long run. Though i did order ARRGGGHH why 4? Moose juice, and brownie batter through vapor geek (in BC) who is a reseller for MLV? then i got Timmies Double Double that i guess they resell for Juicy clear
And i was making reference to the same hand gesture you did for one of the video's when you were doing a vape, other then that i think the humor you bring to the video's a refreshing change from alot of vid's i have seen

Well, Andrew just told me that he's going to be making some aesthetic changes to his site to further differentiate himself from Vapor-with-an-O Geek (and it appears he's already made a change or two). He actually seems to be rather discombobulated with the whole coincidental similar name thing and he hopes Lae isn't too put out. He told me he'd change the name in a heartbeat if he hadn't already gotten business cards, a Twitter feed and a Facebook account. So it seems we'll just have to make sure we're explicit as to which of the Geeks we're referring to.

Yeah, I know the video you're referring to where I did that. Strangely that was purely accidental when I did that, though it was probably a subconscious plant from having watched a lot of his videos. I do try to bring a little bit of humour and flair to the game though. Just kind of an extension of my personality I guess. Vaping is fun. Reviews should be too.

LOL and here i put on the shade's and hat, making sure my hair is in a pony tail, and no one knows it is really me...in public i am sure it is funnier then anything to see me vape i am trying to hold the whole ego wrapped in my hands and making it look like i am yawning......yes i am months away from 40 and still have a thing to talking to the public....
If the above mental image is not funny, the first time i met katmandu from here, where she gave me my very first genuine ego's, she was vaping right there in the mall, and i was deep bright red trying to slink down under the table LMFAO...hard to believe that was only January or February,,,,
Harder to believe that it was 2am April 10th 2012 i went for broke, and switched to full time vaping for one last "do or die trying" attempt at vaping....
