As you can read in my introductory post in the new users forum, I started vaping full-time on January 15th of this year. With the exception of two disgusting puffs a few days later, I have been analog free since. I figure a brief update is in order.

In the past couple of months I have completely replaced all cigarette rituals with vaping. It took a few tries, but I have found an every day juice - 12mg 50/50 hypnotic myst from fsusa. I also use a lot of a custom blend of modern vapes coffee, fsusa hypnotic, and a black cherry. I flirted a while with usb passthroughs, but I find they run too hot, so I carry around a regular 510 battery and a mega, along with the pcc. I work (and vape!) at a desk so I can recharge at will. The dual-battery plus pcc combination works well enough if I am away for a few hours too.

At this point I can honestly claim that I like vaping better than smoking, even discounting my vastly improved health; I just enjoy it more. It tastes better, I can do as much or as little of it as I feel like doing, and it plain tastes better. To anyone who is struggling with vaping, I would bet that you have just not yet found the right combination of equipment and juice. It really is better on this side.

I do have my complaints. They are mostly about my gear. The battery life of the 510 is bad. The juice leaks a little. I do sometimes forget an extra battery, and have to sit patiently and wait for the charger light to turn green. That said, I've invested quite a bit into the 510 and will have to be a lot more irritated than I am to purchase another model.

That's enough for now. Happy vaping all! Like I said before, if you are straddling, hop over the fence for a couple of days, odds are you will be happier!

Hi Randy, Well I gave the analogs away around the same time and like you also prefer the vaping experiance, so i never really think about having an analog anymore, or if i do I almost start to cringe.

Unlike you I have upgraded PV's many time and have turned it into a hobby I enjoy (somewhat expensive one). Yes the easiest upgrade is to buy an ego battery (900mah or above) and cone cover for all day vaping on one baterry. I would also buy a 510 drip tip and LR 510 Atty, its hard to go back once you have tried, or if your a carto person some boge LR cartos.

It is fantastic not even caring that you dont smoke analogs anymore, i never thought it would be so easy.

Isn't it awesome how vaping has become better then smoking for us. I had about given up on ever being able to quit.
Nice to see someone else basically happy yet with their regular 510. Even with the short life of the battery-I think of all the times I was running out of cigarettes, trying to find my lighter, emptying ash trays, etc-I think vaping is much easier.
