Two peas in a pod brand liquid - gross liquid or is my atty bad?

I just got my Protank II mini in the mail today. I love it, but the only problem is I had no juice on hand at the time.

Well I walked to gas station because I didn't want to wait for my order of e-juice to ship, and I picked up a small bottle of "Two peas in a pod" brand juice. I filled up my protank and the taste is just nasty.

I'm assuming I just got a bad flavor / expired liquid / cheap crappy brand in general, but is there any chance that the actual Protank is what's causing the nasty taste? Unfortunately I don't have any other tanks or attys to try the juice in.

Anyone got any experience with Two peas in a pod? I got the Vanilla Sky flavor if that matters.

I don't have any experience with the juice, but .... did you clean out the tank real well before you used it? Sometimes there is machining oil residue on a new tank which really can taste nasty.

Actually I did not.

I'll go do that and report back.

Update: cleaned the tank and it's hitting a lot better now
