i have two questions today
1. i have a TR-006 trustfire charger that i posted about yesterday and 3 Efest protected 18350 batteries and only one will charge. I put the other two on the charger and the charger indicator light never turns red which should indicate that theyre charged but when i put them in my Isis they dont work where the other one does. anyone have a charger/battery issue like this and could help?
2. how do i know when my carto either burns out or needs more liquid?

the best way to make sure that your carto is not burning, and by that time only good to throw away, is to use it with a tank. Most tanks are clear so that you see when there is no more or only little liquid left, even if there is still liquid in the carto itself. So then you can refill the tank. For use in a tank the carto needs to have a hole through which it gets the liquid, best way is to punch it yourself with a nail or a special cartopuncher, you have much more and also a lot better cartos to choose from than prepunched ones. I like the boge lr (lowresist) cartos most

as for the charger, is the chargable 18350 working in both slots? If yes then there must be something wrong with the other 2 batteries i guess

I drip about 20 drops in a new cartomizer and starting counting each puff; I get roughly about 125 puffs before I know I need to stop and refill. It took a couple burnt up cartomizers and experimentation to reach this conclusion though. Luckily the 510 cartomizers I use are only about $1 apiece.

sounds quite complicated to me but if it works for you that's fine. I'm quote sure i would forget to count sometimes over the day especially when i'm on the go, not to mention that everytime i vape it differs in lenght and cartos are not always the same and get higher in resistance after some time of vaping, which would increase the number of vapes i could do because the coil is not getting that hot anymore

I've burnt more than my fair share of cartos in my day. The trouble with cartos for me is that there seems to be no way to tell when you're right on the cusp of scorching one. There's no warning drag. It's "Blech! I just fried another one!"
