Two questions.

1. I am pretty new to mech mods i just got my first one the other day and have a .25 build on it and im loving it. The question though is when should i let the battery charge im wondering cause im not sure if im killing the battery or not.

2. I am looking to start making my own juice probably arounf 90/10 vg pg is there a website where i can get vg and pg mixed already, and im a cautious slightly paranoid person so i want to be 100% that the vg/pg i get is what it says with nothing else in it im not looking to mess with nicotine because i dont want to handle it.

Please give me a reliable answer and thanks all. :)

I cannot answer your first question. If you do not receive an adequate reply here restate your question at one of the links below. Be sure to include the brand and specs of your battery.

I am unaware of a premix as you describe. Nude Nicotine has the Casual Nudist but you would need to use the same percentage of flavoring every time you mix. PG and VG from Essential Depot is excellent quality. They can be purchased directly from the Essential Depot site or through Amazon.

A bit of caution and common sense is what is needed to work with liquid nicotine. When you read 100mg/ml it is 10% nicotine which is the same amount used in many pre-made eliquids. The link below may ease some of your concerns.

A fully charged 18650 is 4.2v, i should be swapped out before it gets below 3.2v. Once you get down to about 3.6 volts you should notice a significant drop off in vapor production. Once you get a bit more experienced you will get a feel for ow much charge is left in the cell. You could also buy an inline voltage tester which will let you check the charge on the fly.

I checked your link, sisu, and had a similar experience. No breakage, but the caps were loose on both bottles. The leakage from one made it past the bubble wrap; the other did not. I rinsed my hands with cold water right away, and had no ill effects. I would recommend gloves and an uncluttered area when working with the stuff, but again, no ill effects.

That's just wrong!!

100mg/ml is 10% nicotine.

No premade juices are sold at 10% nicotine!

Common premade strengths are 3mg (0.3%), 6mg (0.6%), 12mg (1.2%) and 18mg (1.8%) nicotine.

Yes you can get 24mg and higher, but very, very few people will be happy vaping over 30mg (3%) nicotine, and I've never heard of anyone trying to vape 100mg (10%) nicotine.

It really is best to understand this, not just read it, before venturing into DIY.

I do believe the Op is asking about Pre mixed PG/VG Base for DIY. If so, Several versions are available, but Op seems to not yet understand DIY well enough to proceed.

Yes, Base Nic is available in
100% PG
50/50 PG/VG
100% VG
in strengths to 10%, 100mg/ml

Many in DIY use 100mg/ml Base as it is easy to Calculate the needed amount to make any desired Finished mg level.

Good place to start is:

I would definitely use HB6 or vtc4 batteries in your mech if its a single battery or series mod. If its dual parallel, 25rs or LG 20A CDR batteries will do fine.

To make juice that's 90vg you will need flavorings that come in vg. Most flavorings come in pg. I find using pg flavorings that 70-75vg is about as high as I can go. My nic is pg based also. At least one recipe I made recently I had to do 50/50 because it had a lot of flavoring (an orange creamsicle).

My Freedom Smokes is a good place to get DIY supplies. Bull City Vapor too, but they don't sell nicotine. If you are worried about working with nicotine, MFS sells it in 36mg/ml strength in PG, VG or a 50/50 mix. It's safe enough you really can't hurt yourself with it unless you drink it or get it in your eyes. It's a lot cheaper to mix it yourself. The pre-mixed stuff is around twice the price.

Really - change it out before it goes to 3.2v? Does this having something to do with high drain/low drain or whatever?

I've been wondering what the deal is with batteries lately - there are so many different kinds.

Only thing I think I get is that the higher the mahs, the longer it lasts?

Once you go below that it will stress and potentially damage the battery. If you get it down to 2.5 volts chances are the battery will die. That's the way they are engineered.

The mAh of refers to how long the battery will last for.

1000milliamps = 1 amp for 1 hour ~ 2 amps for 1/2 an hour etc.
Generally the higher the mAh capacity of a battery is, the lower the CDR (continuous discharge rate), the maximum amount of amps it can safely deliver.

If you want to read up and make yourself smart on batteries, read the blogs by these two members

I learned the hard way , ever since i started charging my batteries at 3.7 volts the life has gone up considerably .

I never discharge lower that that anymore , you can tell the batteries struggle to charge by draining lower than that imo, i am no battery expert , battery knowledge = God awful to mediocre at best .
