I ordered a Type B Atomizer and tank to go w/ my kGo and am having problems. Basically, the tank doesn't seem to want to go in all the way. The directions / pictures I saw on Authentic Joye eGo-T XL Low Resistance (LR) Atomizer by Joyetech - Cylinder (Type B) - Evcigarettes.com don't exactly match. I'm guessing the atomizer is a different brand, but figured it should work out. I found a video showing the atomizer being disassembled and that one looked like mine. When I push down on the tank I end up getting enough resistance to where I'm not exactly comfortable pressing down harder. I poked the whole in the bottom of the tank myself, instead of via the atomizer.

Did I get the right atomizer? Does the tank not go down as far as I think it should? I don't see this "needle" I read about, though without ripping it apart, I can't be sure. Any help would be appreciated, pictures are attached!

The atty in your picture is a Joye eGo mega atty type B (or an XL?), not a Joye eGo-T type B atty... looks like the vendor made a mistake. The eGo-T atties have a spike nside, a little tube that houses the wick. That spike pierces the tank and goes into the tank itself after piercing. The atty in your picture has a bridge that requires a cartridge with polyfill.

Contact the vendor and ask for a replacement. Tell them you ordered an eGo-T type B atomizer.

I can't tell from the picture if your tank is a type B... does it hold ~2 ml of eliquid? If it does, it's type B. If it doesn't, it's either type A or a 510-T tank.

Ahh, when asking the difference in another thread, I thought the sizes (mega, xl, etc...) were also denoted in the tank systems, I either read wrong or was misinformed, thanks for your clarification though! The URL for them (so you can see why they're confusing) is: http://goo.gl/0A7AT where they list them as "Titanium eGo XL LR Type B Atomizer - Single" <- the Type B is I think especially where it threw me off...

This is a link to Cignot, one of my favorite vendors here on ECF. And it's run by two wonderfully competent and organized women, so the site is easy to navigate and understand. I suggest you look at their descriptions (with pictures) of the atomizers and other hardware they carry. Just click on the category you wish to investigate.

Good luck!
