Hey guys,
I have problam. I wicked my coil which is 7raps 26g. Single coil or 8 raps 26g. Dual coil on 2.4 mm srewdriver. But i'm getting aweful burning gum material taste. I've been vaping for 3 years and i've been building coils since the beggining of vaping and i never had similar problams. Same coils have been working just fine onKanger subtank and Footoon aqua se at same wattage ~22-30w. Do you have any sugestions whats wrong. Maby it's insulators? But i can't take it apart to reach them.
Thank you in advance.

Honestly, my first thought is the water didn't remove the oil.
I scrub mine with a toothbrush and degreaser, then wash it with dish soap and hot water a few times.

Beyond that it could be the wick.

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
Some of these atts you have to take apart down to the post and insulator. The oil will get caught in between the post and insulator and then get leached out once its got wick and is running warm, pushing the oil into the wick. I have had a few that did this and the only solution was to remove the center post and clean thoroughly. I know the flavor of machine oil well, LOL. Yech!
