i had a setup of joyetech evic and a UDCT tank bundle together. I have been vaping for about 3 weeks and tried LIQUA and e-liquid fruit flavors but wondering that both flavors does not have any different at all.. SHould i change a different tank and only then i could really taste the flavors? Any veterans comment and insight would be appreciated:confused:

If you are a brand new vapor and recent ex-smoker, your experience is not too surprising. Years of cigarette smoking has damaged your taste buds. They'll heal over time, but until then your sense of taste will be impaired.

Dry mouth can contribute to one's inability to taste, and the e-liquids that we use (both Pg and Vg) tend to pull water from our lungs and contribute to the dry mouth. I suggest to drink PLENTY of water throughout your day, especially while vaping. Stronger flavors such as menthol, mint, and cinnamon may help in the beginning. (Cinnamon and citrus flavors can melt the plastic in many of our juice delivery devices - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3733-6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

Also exhale some of your vapor through your nose. Our sense of smell can assist our tongues in recognizing the flavors in our vapor.

It's my opinion that your lack to recognize flavor has as much to do with your juices or equipment than it does being a recent ex-smoker with damaged taste buds.

Thanks for the advice and i think will need to take some more time for the taste bud to get repaired. Other than this, i just tried out another vapers Genesis build and i could sense the flavor mix that he has. I think is time to explore other build atomizer.
